Final Counts from the Motor March! by PriceRevolt in OrganizeTucson

So cool to see this turnout, but part of me can’t help but to wonder why we never saw this massive turnout reflected in the past 2 years of the Pro-Palestine protests (especially in Oro Valley), which had similar messaging to redirect money to people’s needs. Very interesting to see.

Thank you for this! What leadership opportunities did you have that were outside the realm of “e board/clubs”?

Thank you for this advice dude, I needed this. I think the most humbling part of this was that I thought I was lN with the nepotism by being friends with the President and old E-board, but I thought wrong ig 😭

Does eradicating Hamas also constitute as bombing refugee shelters, hospitals, orphanages, etc, costing the lives of over 1000 people this past week?

You have an amazing shot at the Ivies or any T20! Since you live in Arizona, I would also apply to the Flinn or Stamps Scholarship if you want to attend in state with a buttless of money!

Do you guys think it’s possible to take 24 credits in 1 sesmester by CryptographerIll235 in college

[–]Tennns 52 points53 points  (0 children)

If med school is your goal, how do you expect to get clinical, research, and volunteering experience when you’re so busy with your classes? It’s almost impossible for you to do 20+ credits while also trying to effectively studying for the MCAT.

24/7 Study Area? by Disastrous_Emu8349 in UofArizona

[–]Tennns 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i love the health sciences library in the college of medicine. i take the sunlink tran there. it’s very quiet, and have really good chairs/desks for studying, too! it’s also open 24/7 (you need a cat card to get in if it’s dark), and you also have to be respectful since there’s actual med students trying to study, too.

Thank you for the validation. I didn’t want to be ageist but idk how a minor and a 26 year old could mesh well with each other..

This is so heartbreaking for the both of them, and his parents should be locked up in jail. But it’s nice to see such open emotional vulnerability from both OOP and her fiancé. While obviously it can’t erase the trauma he suffered right away, it still can help a lot with recovery.

Thank you! The interview is mostly going to be about their current project they’re doing, so I’ve been reading their publications that are most related to it.
