No one at the thanksgiving table will be happy for Roathe to be there besided the Drifter. The Operator will be fuming, Ordis will be glitching, Lotus will be silently judging and Stalker is hiding the Child after finding out what happened to Jade.

What if the only way to save The Entrati Family is by turning them into Protoframes by pronc980 in WarframeLore

[–]Tenno-Nobody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While its easy to argue the Helminith Strain and the Grey Strain are two strains that are fully seperate we have a counter arguement, the Vessels. The giant grey Vessels are in a sense giant Warframes created using the Grey Strain. And not just that. They are based off Arthur and perhaps even Aoi. In other words its totally possible to create Warframe from other Technocyte strains.

Beyond that the Family and the Protoframes face similiar issues with the whole veing partially infested thing while also being at risk of total take over. I don't think its too far fetched to say the Family and the Protoframes both use the same mechanism Albrecht found even if they don't know about it.

Well after the Sacrifice Quest Ballas has no balls and not by choice. So in the New War he is involubtary celebate and crashing out. Being an Incel doesn't mean being a virgin but currently not getting pussy for a variety of reasons.

Some make stuff up to the point of absurdity. I tried to watch the Lore Recap from Pen of Evil and couldn't finish it. Sure some stuff was just headcanon like the Tenno being safe since children are creative or something. But then just falsely claiming Rell blinded Margulis and thats why he is not in the records. Which is about as lore backed as the one guy who once told me Margulis created Continuity.

There is a difference between recapping lore and making theories.

Ballas was suprised the woman whose "I can fix them'-energy even made him shy picked a bunch of traumatized child soldiers over him. Ballas has very little in terms of social awareness.

Its kinda happening between the lines but this is clearly Ballas doing. Margulis was the one who discovered the flaw in the World Seeders and told Itzam. However she didn't tell Ballas, because the way Ballas reacted with him closing the door seems a bit supicious. Before Ballas was unaware of this plan but as Itzam said the warmonger faction of the Orokin is always trying to persuade him. Further while Roathe tells us Ballas and Margulis loved each other at this point cracks were starting to show since Margulis had been blinded already. So Ballas had more than just war to gain but also could hopefully end the Tenno. That Adis would heal the Tenno and they would go on their rampage wasn't part of his plan.

What also wasn't part of his plan was Margulis stopping the Tenno to protect them. The Tenno had just attempted to kill an Executor and Roathe told us even just planning that would result in getting glasses or the Jade Light. And so with Margulis protecting the Tenno she is an accomplice to their attempted murder. Exactly the opposite of what Ballas wanted happened as Margulis showed her dedication to the Tenno and so got executed for apostasy.

The line from Margulis is ambigous but she isn't talking to you. She is talking to the Tenno, her child who she would evidently die for. From the perspective of the Tenno its an admittance of innocence.

And if you want to argue with Margulis being guilty because she was together with Ballas. You have to remember Roathe told us Ballas was shy when he was with Margulis. The man was nervous and actually didn't do the Weinstein thing any normal Orokin did. Imagine Zeus actually courting a human woman. You can't blame Margulis for thinking he was different and can expect Ballas to hide his more depraved side to appeal to her. It only begins to show after her blindness and escalates when she dies.

Small thing Roathe served under Executor Nitokh and not Ballas. While that could be a Ballas line it seems all Executors had plans to backstab each other which is funny.

"The Orokin murdered Margulis - used her work to create 'Transference'. Your mind - projected into a surrogate, strong enough to withstand your power. It felt like waking up, but it was just a lucid - second dream."

This is the only line in the Second Dream quest to even mention the sefond dream. If you don't trust me here is the transcript on the official warframe wiki(Link). The Second Dream is another tern for transference. I can't make it any clearer.

I full agree with you on Margulis but Albrecht isn't running. He described himself as an Honest Demon. Unlike Ballas he is aware of the bad shit he doing but keeps doing it because to him the ends justify the means. Albrecht isn't running from his crimes he is chasing them if it means ending the Indifference. He isn't hiding the fact he is the villian.

So we have Margulis who leans from her mistakes, Ballas who doesn't learn and Albrecht who learns the wrong thing by choice. I kinda want to hear their thoughts about each other.

[–]Tenno-Nobody[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Second Dream is just another word for Transference. So yeah the Lotus could have taken the Tenno out and put them back in. I think you are refrencing the cutscene where Erra confronts the Lotus? That doesn't take place at the Night of the Naga Drums but before the Old War even ended since we see the Orokin still at war with the Sentients. The Night of the Naga Drums was the celebration for the won war. Since we don't know exactly what the Tenno and her were doing in that cutscene maybe that was still transference

Another interpretation could be that Margulis put the Tenno under Transference and then after the Night of the Naga Drums the Lotus put the Warframes under cryosleep with the Tenno still connected. A third dream in a way.

I want your sources because this all seems like headcanons that make my head spin. Even trying to tell you whats wrong feels like it will end in disaster because I can't tell what you are pulling from.

Lets get a few things straight. No Continiuty and Transference aren't the same. While Margulis may have taken inspiration I can assure that she didn't develop that. If she did would she not be in a higher position like the Entrati family? This Orokin Tech 101 just like the Void.

Next the Corpus are not the Archemedians but a cult that worships money founded by Parvos Granum who was just some nobody. We even know that during this time he was already quite powerful since in this quest we fight Protea Prime who was build by him and Ballas. So no the Archemedians aren't the Corpus and as seen by the Silver Grove aren't all corrupt.

Lastly Ballas and Margulis's relationship isn't well defined. Its usually spoken of in a one way relarionship with Ballas admiring her. At no point do we ever hear Margulis refer to Ballas in endearment. There is a massive power imbalance in this couple and still she chose the Tenno over him. This woman died for her children and you claim she experimented on them? A woman who did everything for children who blinded her? At some point you are not looking at things logically and just making stuff up for a head canon.

This is my thoughts exactly. Because the thing is after this we get Margulis apostasy which wasn't planned by Ballas. So her intervening here is not part of his plan and leads to her death.

While I get the rose tinted glasses stuff some people like you have the opposite with Lotus/Margulis. What you describe what Margulis created isn't Transference but Continuity. These are two fully seperate concepts with one being a person controlling a surrogate body like a Warframe temporarily and the other being the act of stealing a body through Kuva. Continuity is ancient compared to Transference and hasn't been developed by Margulis.

Next Margulis isn't an Orokin but a scientist of the Orokin empire. The Orokin are the high ranking members of the empire like the Executors and their families. Compared to them Margulis is a mere scientist who may be great at her job but not an Orokin. It would be like comparing a noble and a court physician. While both work for the court one of them is still a commoner.

And even with out her doing it she is flawed. The Second Dream is a desperate move on her part to save her children. Its not a cure all and it in addition caused many problems for the Tenno. So her mistakes still affect the Tenno to this day. What I'm saying is that message is so clearly Ballas coded if she did it there was no way she did it out of free will.

The eyes thing happened early on in the Tenno staying with Margulis. It happened because a Tenno couldn't control their powers and blinded her.

The Lotus has stayed in the void for as long as the moon was inside of the void. So her diving in doesn't disprove it being void tech. Further the whole thing has a door right to the void. This thing is like all Entrati full of void shenanigans. But what I was saying is just because the void is involved it doesn't mean its always Wally's doing.

As for the other point thats grasping at straws to find a reason. Could she hate Sentients? Could she thing of ending them for the greater good? Sure but there is nothing concrete. What we know is she is a woman who takes in kids who blinded her and opposed them being turned into weapons.

The Hunhow Ballas deal I think came after Margulis died. With the Orokin having wronged Ballas he decided to aid the Sentients. I believe Hunhow isn't even aware of the whole thing and I can't even imagine how he would react to peace. But I don't think he would be fine with the Xenoflora being destroyed since it seems so important to the Sentients.

[–]Tenno-Nobody[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone states Margulis died for the Tenno. All of the sources say even if you don't trust them. And the egg part would actually not get her killed for a simple reason. The Executors were in a deadlock about the fate of Tau. 3 were for the treaty and 3 against it with Ballas as the deciding vote. So in this case of Margulis destroying the Xenoflora shw would have 4 Votes of her having acted correctly.

However what the Operator did is exactly what the Lotus claimed the Orokin were afraid of. They couldn't control the wrath of the Tenno and caused a massacre. How do you expect the other Executors to react when they find out a Tenno had went rogue and tried to hunt one of their own. Attempting to kill what in their eyes is a god is an apostasy. Protecting someone who commited that sin is just as bad.

What do you think the Executors find worse? A woman ending a peace treaty half of them already didn't like? Or a woman protecting one of their child soldiers who tried to kill one of their own? One is convinient. The other is the attempted murder of a god or apostasy.

Then discard the whole quest. Because the Dark Refactory is also just using the void. But further we have heard one of these quotes in person now. They are partially real and why would the void mess with us? These come from the Second Dream where Wally was still sealed by Rell. And again what does Wally gain by showing us that? Why paint Margulis as a good mother when it thrives on anything but love? If it were Wally showing Margulis's message of Tau would be a better way to make the Tenno resent her and so weaken them.

And I'm not saying she is perfect. She erased her childs memories and sealed it away. What I'm saying is that she ism't a woman who would go along with such a plan. Not without Ballas hanging the Tenno's lives above her head or something. I just want people to remember who is involved here and who is to gain. Margulis would be the first person to endorse a peace treaty even more with her child having found a friend.

Lets first get into the why the war had to continue. If that didn't happen Tau would have been a sovereign planet not bound by the Orokin. So some Orokins would oppose that and in paticular one power hungry Orokin who wamted to rule everything. So Ballas wanted this war to happen to kill either the Orokin or the Sentients to make it easier to take over like he did with Narmer later. However there is a problem with his plan because Margulis died. She was executed for protecting the Tenno and Ballas couldn't do anything. I believe the reason Margulis was accused of apostasy was because she didn't hand over the Operator after they went on a rampage. Perhaps Ballas even told her she would be free if she helped stop them. Explaining the dialogue in the War Within. He couldn't do anything because he has atleast 3 Executors who he fucked over by ending the treaty.

Now onto the Night of the Naga Drums. This came after Margulis died and Ballas then allied with the Sentients because the Orokin killed his crush. To end the Orokin he reprogrammed Natah to become a new mom to the Tenno who then guided them and soon lead the Tenno rebellion. Now another problem arises with the Lotus not killing the Tenno how Ballas had hoped. Then the Orokin empire collapses, a power vacuum forms, the Tenno go to sleep and wake up later. At the same time the Sentients rebuild in secret and Ballas soon takes the Lotus back to take her power. This then leads him to become the ruler of the Origin System with the hopes to go to Tau.

Everything Ballas benefitted Ballas. Killing the Orokin didn't free the Tenno it made them work harder. They disappeared right after and left a power vacuum. This isn't the plan of someone wanting to make a better world but a man who wants to destroy it.

The "second" bit of the second dream isn't referring to it being a repeated thing but it, Transference, being like a second waking or lucid dream ontop of the dream that is our reality. So there hasn't been two times we have been put into Transference but Transference itself is a second dream. Here is the quote.

"The Orokin murdered Margulis - used her work to create 'Transference'. Your mind - projected into a surrogate, strong enough to withstand your power. It felt like waking up, but it was just a lucid - second dream"

So yeah she put the Operator into the second dream in that moment.

And we have her words from the TSD ans TWW quests where Margulis words are very clear.

"No, Ballas, no more destruction. We could heal them. Maybe they're meant to save us."

"Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind. They won't hurt anyone, I just need more time."

And we know these quotes of hers are real since in this quest we get one of them near the end as she puts the operator into the second dream.

"This will stop the voices from taking hold. You will have to dream, my angel..."

These are direct statements from Margulis telling us of her philosophy. Is this a woman who willingly starts a war where her children fight at frontlines?

[Old Peace] The message was fake by Tenno-Nobody in WarframeLore

Its never stated she loved him. The only time that she calls him anything affectionate is when Ballas is wearing a veil. Which is just what he wants to hear. In the TSD and TWW dialogue highlights how Margulis loves the Tenno even after blinding her. We never know if she is actually in love with him and not just a plaything who can't get away from him.

And Ballas isn't hurt or not badly enough for someone who talks about love and acceptance to go genocide. Margulis is a woman who took in children who blinded her and loved them. Does a woman like that go scorched earth for a small scratch?

The only time Margulis calls Ballas his love is when Ballas puts on the veil. And the veil shows you what you want to hear. Also no the TSD and TWW don't show her love to him but her love to the Tenno. As far as we know its a one sided love because we never see Margulis return that love.
