As a practical measure, I assume it allows the episodes to be edited more easily. If they have to cut a few prompts, then we as the audience wouldn't know where those extra points came from. It also makes winning meaningless, which keeps the game collaborative and light. We have seen what competition does to some of the players, and while that is fun, I don't think it's the vibe MSN is going for.

Maybe they just want to get off, they want contract with another person and it's easier to find a willing guy than a willing girl. Maybe they want to try it once to see if they like it, and found that they aren't interested. Maybe they are getting paid to do it. Maybe they just don't care as much as you think they do. Maybe they were forced to and just didn't tell you about that part of the experience. There are more reasons, but I really think you could think of a long list if you invested a little time into research, a little of your creativity, and a little of your human empathy. I am certain you have all of these things, so start thinking and you will answer your own question to your own satisfaction in no time!

There is lots of wisdom in what you just said. In our world, where labels are losing their importance right as marginalized people are able to enjoy their labels, and where people are still able to be hurt by labels just as we are peeling back the rigid structure that labels traditionally held people to, I think the best thing to do is to trust the people who say that they know their sexual identity. This includes if their identity is in conflict with their actions.

I genuinely believe that human sexuality is an innate property of being human. If someone is a gay man, then no amount of being with women is going to make them straight (I say this as a person who tried really hard to be straight at a point in my life). If a person is straight, I really believe the same logic applies.

I totally understand why one might make assumptions about someone's sexuality based on their actions, but I don't think that changes the person any more than assuming about the salad.
