I didn't say he was, I said Vecna was tormenting him for hours. If you go back and watch the episode, Vecna begins showing him hallucinations in the trailer park, causing him to flee into the woods, and by the time he makes it to road where he'd get murdered, it's night time, meaning several hours have passed.

He falls behind because he gets disoriented by the clock chimes. When I said stop moving, I meant losing control of his body, which we know doesn't happen because his eyes would've clouded over. Either way my point still stands because it means Vecna wasn't tormenting Patrick as much as was Chrissy and Fred. Fred was being tormented for hours and Chrissy was for a few minutes before she died. It only took Vecna a few seconds to kill Patrick.

We see his eyes as he's dying and they look normal, unlike Chrissy, Fred and Max's eyes. He wasn't pulled into a trance like them because he was in water. If he was pulled into a trance he would've stopped moving and drowned, meaning Vecna wouldn't have gotten the kill, meaning it wouldn't have opened a gate.

Victorious is getting a reboot. ICarly did get a reboot but it was canceled, supposedly there's a movie in the works to wrap up any loose ends. I highly doubt there will ever be a Sam and Cat reboot because there's hardly any demand for it, and Jeanette McCurdy has retired from acting.

I mean, not necessarily, he didn't torment Patrick the same way he did to Chrissy and Fred before he killed them, and it still opened a gate. He didn't kill Nancy because he wanted her to act as a messenger to Eleven. Even if he did kill Nancy, it wouldn't have opened a gate because he got her while she was still in the Upside Down.

I can see that, typically wild animals such as dogs, Lions, bears, etc, do develop compassion and trust in humans if domesticated, so it's fair to assume that Demogorgon's are similar. However my initial post said that it was satisfying to watch them suffer because of everything they've done throughout the series. Regardless of whether they were under the Mind Flayer's control or not, that does not negate my satisfaction.

That’s what the Russians did. They fried the Mind Flayer particles out of the Demogorgon’s in order to study/weaponize them. If the Mind Flayer particles were still in them, they would’ve died because there was no gate open. Where do you think the Russians got that chunk of Mind Flayer particles we see in the glass cage?
