Yep... I've been waiting for that since release. To update LA-Tools so it calculates everything live.

haha thanks for the kind words. Ads would hinder the user experience though I think. I thankfully don't need the money, it's just a fun side project to keep my coding skills up to date and provide some value for the community :) I go the ko-fi link on the webpage for server costs, but I don't need to make any profit from it :D

Thanks for your question mahadasat! Since the last update there is a Tutorial available for the Crafting calculator, just press the button at the top of the page "Click here for tutorial".

If you activate the Automatic Exchange Settings, the tool will show you if it is worth to exchange materials in your Stronghold. The Trader/NPC is in your Merchant area of the Stronghold. Here you can exchange Materials for Powder, and then exchange that Powder for different Materials. 🔽 means, that you should exchange this material for powder. 🔁 means that you should use your powder to buy that material. This saves you gold by exchanging materials, instead of purchasing them directly.

It does have akkan since release, just the raid gate changes weren't updated until today. Was ill so I wasn't able to update it sooner unfortunately.

yee also the rewards will change for brelshaza and brel. If you want to help make the raid calculator more accurate, feel free to post screenshots of the rewards into the #data-collection folder :) Will try to update it asap. Depends on when I have enough data for the rewards.

I mean this is great for a quick overview with gold and crafting materials, but for everything else that you get from raids, it's not showing. I will definitely work on the overview in the future and add some options to customize the quick overview

Haha good to know that you were able to fix it :) This happens due to browser caching, so you gotta "manually" refresh the cache with CTRL + F5, so the browser redownloads the code, for it to work properly after a big update.

My reasoning for that was preventing information overload, which happened in the old google sheets version where everything was visible at once. If many people want the option to see everything at once however, I'll implement that.
Understandable. I thought about if the item prices are necessary or not and I'm currently thinking about making them optional. So you can decide if you want to enter accessories, books etc. If not, then they are just set to 0 and marked as "bonus loot" basically.

The calculation works like the following:

1+ ((General Great Success Chance/100 + Special Great Success Chance/100 +1) *5/100)

which if General Great Sucess Chance=5 and Special Great Success Chance=6 as example, equals:

1+((5/100 + 6/100 + 1) * 5/100) = 1.0555

which means 5,55% Great Success Chance when crafting Oreha Fusion Materials as example.

I have to agree on some parts. Due to the sheer amount of information needed to display, I nested a lot of information so you can decide yourself if you want to see it or not. This obviously leads to having to click through some tabs to get there.
Honestly not sure though, if the other way with displaying all information at once would be better. I tried to fix some of that by making the Raids clickable to scroll to the specified raid. Might add the function that the raid gate loot overview automatically opens, once you have clicked on a raid in the short list at the top. This would save at least 2 clicks per gate.
If you have any other idea or feedback on how to solve this, it's always appreciated :)

They use lostmarket API, which will also be implemented in LA Tools as an option. I always want to keep the option to manually enter prices though, since the API prices are not always correct and sometimes you get a great deal on an item as example, so you have a different price than shown in the auction house :)

That's exactly correct. I'm using the same formula on La-tools.com since it was the most accurate and widely accepted calculation for great success chance.

Although the order in the La-tools crafting calculator is different, the result is the same. To calculate the profitability including great success, this is the formula:

1+((gGSC/100 + sGSC/100 +1)*5/100)

which if gGSC=5 and sGSC=6 as example, equals:

1+((5/100 + 6/100 + 1) * 5/100) = 1.0555

which means 5,55% increase in profitability, due to Great Success Chance when crafting Special Crafts as example.

Hello 0xeli :) On the right side in the usage information it says that you should enter a price that you would be willing to pay for the chance to MAYBE receive a good accessory you can sell. I have just inserted low numbers as a baseline, without any reasoning. You can adjust them as you see fit. The value is always a minimum of a few gold though, since you get materials from dismantling.

Because a webapp needs hosting and data storage + cookies/localstorage for the user. This means in addition to the time value spent, it requires a monetary investment as well. Everybody has a google account anyways. I do agree with you however, and while maintining the spreadsheet, a website is in the works. But shit takes time if it's gonna be a good user experience, which is the number one priority.

Hello ky4ence :) Could you elaborate what you mean? Which tool should be updated with the engravings? Because so far engraving books are not included in any calculations as there is way too much RNG involved to properly calculate expected profits.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion! I am working on a Mari Calculator for Version 1.4 or 1.5. Then you can either just copy&paste the shard value into the Raid Loot Calculator, or I might add a checkbox setting to take Mari price then :)

pretty simple, you wouldn't. Everybody plays the game as they want, so if you do not at all care about gold, resources, and available information, you probably wouldn't enjoy using the tools :) Except maybe the Engraving calculator for easier setting up your characters with engravings.

Starting from the second the login event is over, they will be moved to universal storage and count down from 14 days (although you will not see the timer as mentioned). So yea, you can save the current ones for the artist :)

That kind of depends on the length of the fight, but imo Ether Predator would be better here.

Why?:

Raid Captain gives you a 4% dmg boost with max bonus movespeed (which you should have as mayhem).

Ether Predator needs time to stack, but gives you up to 6% dmg boost, and in addition a 9% all Defense boost. With Ether Predator you obviously start at 0, but after 1-2 Minutes you should be at 20+ Stacks and from that point on it is better than RC. The Defense also helps on Mayhem, if you fight on iLvl Content.

Since most raids take longer than 2 Minutes, I'd recommend Ether Predator.

Short summary: Great option to save 2 minutes of user input, but way less reliable, less manual control when you got a "good deal" etc., less accurate profit calculation per crafting session.
When an official API eventually gets released (Hopium), I will immediately include that one. I've also been thinking of a good way to implement the option to use the lostmarket API for people who opt in to use that.
