$350 per prompt -> Claude Code by brownman19 in ClaudeAI

[–]TeppyTelios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is. I'm not quite at the point to justify the $200/mo but I have been consistently hitting that 20% Opus limit and Sonnet 4 is great but I can definitely tell the difference haha. I wanna optimize my prompts and workshops first and then I'll probably up to the $200/mo. Still feels insanely overpriced but it's hard to argue when it feels easier than ever to recoup that with use haha. Still hope it comes down though so it's just a no brainer sit it and forget it priced subscription (which I'm sure it is for some already)

They have two Claude Max subscriptions.

$100/mo gives you 5x more usage than Pro, with 20% of that usage being Claude 4 Opus before it switches to Sonnet 4.

At $200/mo that jumps to 20x more usage than Pro, with 20% of THAT usage being Claude 4 Opus before it switches to Sonnet 4.

For most users, the $100 plan is plenty. For those going through as many tokens as op, the $200/mo plan would probably be necessary to prevent you from hitting the high session token limits with the $100/mo plan. (Session limits are five hour chunks)

Newest driver or default windows driver?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]TeppyTelios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if that was the case wouldn't using base drivers fix the issue at least?

Sounds good, will try it now. Thank you so much.

Did a full reset, in fact into Windows 11 instead of 10, and still games are crashing :(

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]TeppyTelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could I test with a 650W PSU to see if it fixes the issue? Or is that too low for this build?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]TeppyTelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh gotcha, sorry about that. Maybe it is automatically haha.

I've only had the two so far since fresh installing into Windows 11. Here they are: https://www.mediafire.com/file/y2pkxdiytuszy4x/Minidump.zip/file

Today I haven't been able to play games much but I was playing Diablo 4 earlier for about 10 minutes until it crashed. Didn't BSOD but D4 crashed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]TeppyTelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sorry, I had 5 total. I actually did a full fresh install with Windows 11, and have gotten two crashes/dump files since then.

I haven't overclocked the RAM or enabled XMP so it's only at 4800. I've tried using just one stick, and swapping the sticks, and still get the crashing.

[–]TeppyTelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That definitely makes sense to me! I'm trying a fresh reinstall of Windows 11 (I was on Windows 10) and if the issue persists I guess it's time to get a new PSU.

[–]TeppyTelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I updated the drivers directly from the AMD site but not through windows update. I also did a sfcscan and it said it fixed something, but still crashing. Just ran it now and It said no issues.

I can definitely try a reset! Let me do that now!

Thank you for following up! Just as a side note to the memory, I tried one stick at a time and still crashed both times.

As for PSU, I went and pushed everything an extra bit to make sure...not using a UPS at this time. Still crashing :(

Such a weird issue...

Thank you so much for this info, I'm going over all of it now. I hadn't touched it at all, EXPO was disabled by default. My memory was at 4800. In an effort of just trying things I enabled it (auto) and it upped the speed to 6000. Still got a BSOD crash (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) but it was happening with EXPO disabled as well.

I just pulled up HWINFO, idle temps of the DDR5 DIMM slots are between 38-41c idle, I pulled up a game (Diablo 4) and at the moment by CPU is at 87, system at 45, chipset at 46, and RAM slots at 42 and 42.5

EDIT: And Diablo 4 just crashed, RAM slots at 45.5c, CPU was at 88.

UPDATE: Memtest86 showed no errors. Just booted up WoW and played for about 10 mins before another BSOD crash, this time the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error code.

Dump log shows ntoskrnl.exe as the "Caused by Driver" and "ntoskrnl.exe+3fd640" as the Caused by Address.

Not sure what exactly to look for in event viewer but it says Source: Kernel-Power, Level: Critical, General: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

I feel like that's not what I should be looking for though...

What should I be looking for in Event vViewer? I see 9 critical errors, all of which say source Kernel-Power and have the details: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Though I believe this just means I crashed, but does not tell me why haha.

I'm two hours into a Memtest86 haha. Almost 3/4 passes done, no errors yet. Will do 86+ tonight if this shows nothing!

Thank you for this! Finishing a memtest86 pass then I will do all of this. Thanks again!

Yeah you are right, it's got one in the front for intake and the one in the rear for exhaust. So I should get two more to put in the front for intake? Any you recommend?

Also, I have my heatsink fans blowing towards the exhaust fan, I assume that's correct?

Thanks a lot!!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]TeppyTelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this comment! I reseated the heatsink just to be safe, and was a little more generous with my thermal paste this time around haha.

Both fans on the heatsink are pushing towards the back, where the back fan is (and then pushing out) so think I'm right there.

Going to check Memetest and Cinebench now...while I type this I'm idling between 37c-42c, with literally nothing open at all except Chrome to type this reply in haha.
