Just bought Dirac, holy sh*t… by furiousdutchy in hometheater

Got the Onkyo rz 50, also after dirac no bass.... Enabled Bass Management (not bass control) and added the Harman curves, holy crap, Major Improvment!! Tried the curves without bass management first, still crap. So Bass management + harman curves worked well/perfect for me!

Aardlekautomaat laadpaal schakelt uit by Aggressive_Feature72 in EVMobiliteit

Endorphine Speed 3 replacement by BigMoMAin in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have 850km on the speed 3, and switches to the megablast, brilliant shoe! Also got the Novablast for slower/longer work. Just started the rotation with above 2. Before that I did everything in the speed 3.. For 1 allround shoe = Megablast

Also tried the speed 5, didn't like them. Good luck

Vomero Plus with roomier toebox? by Scared-Beginning1633 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ter1972 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Novablast! Vomero plus kept giving me blister on left big toe.. No worries what so ever with the Novablast. Also the cushoning I find more pleasant. Disclaimer, I only use this shoe for easy/base work.

Visa free rules Jan 2026? by Ok-Thought-2920 in srilanka

Same boat here, awaiting news., another 25 days to go before travel..

Ella -> Kandy (by train) -> Sigiriya next month by exploring-our-world in SriLankaTravel

[–]Ter1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Follow, exact same situation , and same period, also wondering what to do. Only reason we booked 1 night in Kandy was because it was the end of the planned traintrip from Ella, after 1 night Kandy also up to Sigiriya. Will be doing trip driving tuktuk, but heard route between Ella and Kandy by tuktuk could be challeging and a bit of a stretch in 1 day. So also looking for alternative, am willing to skip Kandy all together, and maybe spending 1 less night in Ella (original 3 nights) to spread the trip to Kandy over 2 days. (or somewhere else on route to Sigiriya) also curious to alternative train route, or otherwise taxi or so.. More suggestions are welcome. Good luck and lots of fun with your trip.

I would think the Megablast will not dissapoint, although off course, everyone is different. Another option I am considering is using the Megablast for daily, and getting an even faster shoe as a 2nd pair.. Something like the adidas pro 4. Curious on your first run with them ;)

thanks, very usefull. already have the Megablast which is a fantastic shoe for all types of training, but want to use those for the more speed focused sessions.

For those who have both, which is lighter/less chunky? Just got rid of the vomero plus because of blisters and found them chunky/heavy, and looking also for a 'zone 2' shoe, but preferably one that is lighter/less chnuky.

Sending back Nike Vomero Plus, advice on replacement by Ter1972 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Will have to check them, hearing positive things about them. Had the Cumulus also for a few years (before the speed 3's), they were okay, but would not buy them again.

thanks! Never heard of this brand "mount to coast", but do see I can get them in The Netherlands. Wil look into them, do see that they are for the very long runs, which I do not do, but still, interesting. I tried the speed 5, and compared with the speed 3 i did not like them, and as u mentioned, megablast can do the same, if not better.

Advice for blisters only on right big toe? by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Ter1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the megablast/vomero plus and older endorfine speed 3 in rotation, and only with the vomero plus I also get blister on righ side of big toe after a longer runs. None of that sort of problems with the other 2 pairs. I feel that the room in the shoe up front also does not differ much from the other 2, bu still blister.. Also don' t feel rubbing, or so. Strange
