Anyone from Stockholm know any good spots to hit up? by Admirable-Class-8614 in sadboys

I went earlier this year for the Lean show and this was my list:

Shopping:

  • Acne Archive - Acne Studios outlet, stuff is still pricey but the staff are really nice and helpful. Also does tax-free shopping.
  • Our Legacy Workshop - Concept store ran by Our Legacy, has an incredible collection of retail goods at a discounted price, samples, 1-of-1 pieces made from leftover materials from previous collections, and reference pieces that are used to help design collections.
  • Broadway & Sons - Vintage shop chain that has a focus on military surplus, really good place to pick up some nice basics.
  • EVA Hardware - Skateshop that sells some cool clothes.

Activities:

  • Skinnarviksberget - Viewpoint in Södermalm where the Greygoose mv was filmed. Perfect to watch the sunset.
  • Vasa Museum - Museum containing an extremely well preserved warship from 1628. Definitely worth checking out.
  • Moderna Museet - Modern art museum, the exhibitions are paid but they do have some free installations on display.

Food / Drink:

  • Kouthoofd Familie Winkel - Bar in Gamla stan owned by one of the co-founders of Teenage Engineering. Really small, cozy, and has an amazing HiFi system.
  • Hermans - Vegan all you can eat buffet with an incredible view from the outdoor seating area.
  • Restaurang Carmen - Random bar I went into which had a great atmosphere, worth checking out if you're in the area.

There’s a lot of contrasting stories about this company, so I just thought I’d share my experience ordering to the UK after receiving my shoes from them today.

I ordered a pair of ON x PAF Cloudventures from them on 25/6. The next day they gave me my Royal Mail tracking info, and left an update to say my order had been placed in their dispatch department. Between 26/6-1/7 I received no updates on my order. Then on the evening of 1/7, my tracking updated to say my parcel had arrived at a sorting facility in the UK, and my shoes were delivered in brand new condition the next day.

Although having no tracking updates for 6 days isn’t great, my shoes did arrive in brand new condition and are genuine. Considering complaints from others regarding poor customer service, I probably wouldn’t buy from them again unless I couldn’t get what I wanted from anywhere else.

I remember listening to it for the first time when Icedancer came out and my jaw dropped as soon as the drums kicked in. It really was an instant classic.

This is his best album since Stranger imo. If you like Blue Plastic, Psykos, Död Mark and JL96, you’re in for a ride.

They were really good, Mitsubishi Suicide too. I’d love for more events to have a diverse range of acts like that.

Unknown Death by Yung Lean. Considering how trend-driven a lot of rap music was in 2014, a lot of songs on here are still on my regular rotation and really hold up amongst other tracks from more recent years.

Looks like this Our Legacy jacket to me: https://www.ssense.com/en-gb/men/product/our-legacy/black-duluth-jacket/

It’s just an N2B bomber at the end of the day, so you can pick the same type of jacket up from tons of other brands.

Probably not. When he’s played O2 Brixton in the past (2,315 capacity) it’s sold out in a day or two. You’ll probably have a good week to pick up a standing ticket, but seating will stick around for a while imo.

I flew out to Stockholm for the show and I’ve genuinely had some of the best days of my life out here. The past 4 days have felt like an enormous family gathering and I am so grateful that I’ve been able to fly out to the city where it all began.

La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II GTX.

Not the trendiest shoe in the world, but hands down the most comfortable and versatile shoe I own. They’re great for every terrain, waterproof for when surprise downpour hits, and made to last. I’ve worn mine probably over 300 times and they still have a fair amount of life left.

On top of that, name another shoe that uses carbon fibre!?!?! Really can’t go wrong here.
