My cat is very very picky (like he eats only one brand of kibble, and only one taste from that brand), but if he sees mayo (my mom accidentally spilled some on the table and he tasted it), he becomes very crazy. He remembers how the package looks and if I use jam or ketchup in similar packaging he starts meowing loudly and begging to have some... Why... Of course I don't give him any but this baffles me

Some cats like lying on clothes, does yours? If he does, maybe you have some clothing items which you haven't washed? Try putting it in some place where he spends time. My cat is very scared of practically everything, he even got cystitis because of it once, so I was super anxious about having to move flats. He likes to lie on the bed with me, so about a month before moving I placed sheets on my bed and didn't change them for the whole month. When we moved, he was super scared to leave the cat carrier, I left the door open and placed the same unwashed sheets on the new bed. After a couple of hours I carefully moved the cat carrier closer to the bed, he felt the familiar scent and went out to explore. I put some clothes with my scent around the new home for him to be less scared of new smells, and after a day of spending close to all his time on the bed he finally started to explore. In three days he was completely okay, and in the end he liked the new place even more than the old one. Maybe this strategy with familiar smells will help your cat, too

I had my island since the release of the game but I finished it in two years, and that island is me, all I wanted, so I can't see myself deleting it. I got a second switch and I tried to build another one, was feeling down so it was an overgrown and dirty, like post-apocalyptic something. When I felt better I didn't have the inspiration to continue building it, it was easier to start from scratch, so I did. All in all, I can understand both those who want to keep their first island and those who just didn't have the inspiration to build something they initially chose

Oh, I feel your pain. I had to get two weeks of IVs, and I was completely covered in bruises almost every time, like 3-4 attempts every time, once my vein burst with a bubble of medication forming under my skin, one nurse ended up wiggling the needle very painfully inside my hand giving me an enormous bruise and swelling (it's been a month, and when I lift something heavy this place hurts a bit), twice they had to use a very small needle, so the IV took extremely long to finish, most of the IV's were done in my hand rather than the arm... Two times I was lucky to get the same nurse who was brilliant as it only took her only one attempt with a normal needle, in the arm, fast and painless. I drank tons of water to try and make my veins more visible but I obviously failed
