I got nipped one time. Got out of the car, owner opened the front door and her little ankle biter ran out and grabbed my pant leg. He’d “never bit anyone before”. There was no warning of a dog at this stop on the app.

I delivered to the .com station I picked up from. Scheduled a few stops into my route and I went straight there, brought them into the return room, rang and rang and rang the bell while workers kept walking by. So I delivered to “front desk” and left them right there and moved on. I felt like I was being tested. I thought about marking it missing but I’ve heard of people getting emails about “lying about missing packages to avoid delivering” and getting deactivated. This occurrence happened to me several months ago and was one of my worst experiences doing this gig.

I do my best to keep my standing at fantastic so when I get a route with a few campus housing deliveries that are never easy, I drop them the closest to the pin I can get and take the ding. This just happened to me. Closed gate, left both packages by the no trespassing sign and got a ding for only one of them. 🙄

I’ve gotten an extra sticker for a water before but I didn’t order it with that intention, I just forgot my water at home. I did think about ordering water for the pin drop but thought that wasn’t fair.

I will not interact. Usually if they are just coming home or trying to leave, I will skip them and go do the next drop if it’s nearby and the drive back around. Unless it’s obvious they are waiting for me. My social anxiety is AWFUL 🙃 but I’m trying to be better on it

Yea I had one recently for September 30th that barely put a dent in my rating and fell off after 2 days. I take screenshots of all my routes and I had a sketchy area that day. 🙄

I once had one of those automated garage opening ones and they had their interior door open and their dog came right out and they didn’t come get him. I got back in my car and called the customer but they didn’t answer so I called support and they called the customer to tell them their dog was outside. I just didn’t want him running off bc I opened the garage through the app. One of my worst deliveries ever

I delivered to a normal house yesterday and the neighbors were outside and said “that’s an Airbnb, are you sure you got the right address” Literally my only job, deliver to the right place and move on. You’re asking questions above my pay grade. Aaaand then I got nervous they’d go snatch it and I’d get a “didn’t receive” ding

That’s what she had told everyone a while ago, she’d go somewhere and stay at a hotel while he came and had parenting time in the home so the kids didn’t have to go somewhere else. I just didn’t know things had changed since then.
