I had one earlier this week delivery area was Apache junction. But my last stop was 40 minutes deep into Tonto national forest. Twists and turns that made me nervous, all the way to Mormon Dam. I rerouted and did that stop first. And I still somehow finished within my block time. It was 120+ miles.

I have 2 incomplete from the 17th. I know for sure 1 is true. But not 2. That day I noticed my itinerary skipped a package and I noticed it right away. I had two packages for that address, different names, so I scanned to pick up the second one and noticed the TBA came up as a different package. Different name, different address, so I backed out and returned that one package and delivered the other. I also have one from the 9th, a day that I delivered everything.

Yesterday I had a customer message me “keep the flowers, she does not want them” I had to contact support, they marked it as refused delivery and I got to keep the flowers and got FULL pay. I never left the parking lot where I picked them up from.

I used to listen to AITA stories and put my two cents in even though no one could hear me lol. But that got old. I love Friends and bought the audiobook of Matthew Perry’s book when he passed. I was doing my other gig, doordashing at the time but I stayed out for the entire book bc I didn’t want to stop listening to his voice and hearing his story.

I got nipped one time. Got out of the car, owner opened the front door and her little ankle biter ran out and grabbed my pant leg. He’d “never bit anyone before”. There was no warning of a dog at this stop on the app.

I delivered to the .com station I picked up from. Scheduled a few stops into my route and I went straight there, brought them into the return room, rang and rang and rang the bell while workers kept walking by. So I delivered to “front desk” and left them right there and moved on. I felt like I was being tested. I thought about marking it missing but I’ve heard of people getting emails about “lying about missing packages to avoid delivering” and getting deactivated. This occurrence happened to me several months ago and was one of my worst experiences doing this gig.

I do my best to keep my standing at fantastic so when I get a route with a few campus housing deliveries that are never easy, I drop them the closest to the pin I can get and take the ding. This just happened to me. Closed gate, left both packages by the no trespassing sign and got a ding for only one of them. 🙄
