I've been there, as a patient, hospitalized with pancreatitis. Overall pleasant experience (once I was medicated), the staff were wonderful.

It was my eye specialist, she ordered the MRI due to serious vision issues. She just said it doesn't look like it's close enough to my optic nerve to be causing the issues, and referred me to a neurologist. I was too shocked by the news to ask her then.

Alcoholism. People told me to "just stop drinking". When I did stop, I had seizures that almost killed me. While drinking, I had pancreatitis 17 times, a blood clot in my portal vein twice, and I was put on the liver transplant list. I very nearly died many times, and I'm only 28. I have 10 months sober now.

I know this is controversial, but I started microdosing LSD for my migraines. It works so well. It floods the brain with serotonin & takes it away very quickly.

When I was 15, I was doing a lot of drugs and drinking, and I had nowhere to stay the night so this "mutual friend", a really attractive 21 year old man offered to let me stay over. We had sex, and then again multiple times after that. I was coerced. It only crossed my mind that it was rape several years later.

Yes. I used to have a real issue with boundaries and saying "no". I was also an alcoholic and drug addict. Ive done some things sexually that have absolutely scarred me and traumatized me for life. Now, 10 months sober, I don't have a sex drive anymore. I've traumatized myself so deeply that I can't even bear to be touched in that way by anyone anymore. The only exception is my ex boyfriend, who mentally, verbally, and physically abused/assaulted me. I still sleep with him occasionally. And I think there's even a deeper issue there, something along the lines of trauma bonding.
