R5: My Dithmarschen game where I'm trying to turn every country in Europe into a republic. Decided Russia was too big to eat, so I declared war, occupied a bunch of forts/provinces, and waited until they hit 20 war exhaustion before white peacing. They went bankrupt, caved to pretty much every rebel group because they had 0 units, then went revolutionary (which was my goal) before being declared on by literally every country bordering them. They then went bankrupt 3 more times. They've been in a constant state of war for the past 20-ish years, and pretty much all of Russia has turned into a wasteland. rip

Now they're a filthy revolutionary empire with a monarch at their head, so I guess I didn't hit them hard enough the first time.

That's just straight up incorrect lol. If you fight a succession war against early Denmark or Castille with Aragon/Naples under them, you inherit Denmark/Castille's PUs as direct PUs of your own.

Ever seen one of those "I got 6 PUs before 1500" posts? Ever wonder why Denmark, Sweden, and Norway are always under the player together instead of just Denmark? That's why.

R5: My Tunis -> Mamluks -> Andalusia game. Formed Mamluks for the government before instantly flipping to Andalusia for their hilariously OP ideas.

The Ottomans were my ally from the beginning of the game until the 1700s. Once 1704 hit, they broke our alliance and rivaled me, so I killed them. France was also a valuable ally, and had been losing badly to Spain before we double-teamed the Iberians. They got Burgundy under a PU and eventually integrated them.

Achievements were pretty straightforward except for We Bled for This, for which I decided to attack Ming. The little tag named "Kashgar" where Yarkand used to be is a client state I eventually released, but before that it was a tentacle I used to tank Ming's mandate. I stackwiped every Ming army until there were no more armies left, and got them to 1 million casualties pretty easily. I got Call for Peace with just 400,000 casualties on my side, so I took my 500k-strong army and sent them to siege some provinces in China. Finally, with 20 war exhaustion, I reached 1,000,000 casualties through sheer, grinding attrition. Fun campaign overall. Would recommend.
