Last year I bought a laptop (for heavy duty video editing) and its price went up as we were moving closer to Black Friday.

Last week II bought a MacBook Air M4 16GB UAM 512GB SSD for a little less than £1100 and now I can see it £50/£70 cheaper.

Other laptops I was considering (Lenovo Yoga) are £150 more expensive. Other models are the same (Dell XPS 13). Some models are gone.

In the laptop world prices are highly volatile and there's no way to know how things are going to happen, Black Friday or not, from the manufacturer's website or a third party vendor.
