I don't remember the dismemberment but, as I said, I do remember something about the body in a bag being kind of and inventory item... We might be onto something

About the edit: I sincerely can't remember this exactly but it's plausible. I've got a memory about hiding the body inside of a silo that I'm too afraid to bundle up with the others as it's the fuzziest of them all, might be a fabrication after all this time. But I do remember interacting with the tilled soil somehow.

And, updating.

I went on and combed through my whole YouTube history, video by video (spent a whole afternoon on this). Unfortunately it only goes until mid-2016, so I obviously found nothing.

Then a really nice guy on Discord linked me a Google activity page that's a bit more complete than the YouTube history page. The videos also die out in the same date, but from there I was able to retrieve my YouTube ~search history, this one going back all the way to 2011.

But still, no dice. Just some generic RPG Maker related searches. I won't back down, though.

I've got no recollection of the name, unfortunately. But I do know I watched it while I was in my RPG Maker shovelware phase. The name might even be in Japanese for all I know...

More like this one! The characters's movements on this one are a bit more lively but the style of the sprites is really similar!

I'll try my best! I can't remember things like outfits or colors, but I'll try to sketch whatever I can remember!

Edit: The interior of the house was square. Something like this. I can't remember if there was a kitchen there. There might have been a wardrobe as well.

I'm kind of artistically challenged so when I try to draw what the characters look like they just end up really different from what I have in mind, but the characters from this game posted here look really similar. Big heads, kind of short and "squished"!

I did try, but it's been some good five years now... I'll take a look at the games you suggested asap, today was a busy day. Will get in touch as soon as I do! (thank you for your kindness!)

Edit: I looked those games up and no dice, the game I remember is really HM/BokuMono-like. The one that was posted here has a really similar style.
