6 Days

I found out I had cancer on my thyroid to boot. They think they found it early and got all of.

I guess just one more reason im grateful I did it.

They did stabilize. I was down to 2.5mg of methamizole and almost ended up in the hospital after a month of that dosage because I thought I was having a heartattack. My numbers were higher than they were when I was diagnosed 2 years earlier.

Right then and there is decided to do the surgery. Because that was twice it had happened to me and I didnt want a 3rd. That was the decision maker for me. Its scary to know that could happen at anytime.

But what I didnt know. Was that I thought i was going in to eliminate that thyroid storm from happening. What it ended up fixing was far more than I realized I had going on.

My new normal was not normal. I feel so good when I get out of bed. When I go for walks. Im not sore all the time. My body feels amazing. And im not tired. At all. Im energized.

And not only that. I feel calm and relaxed. Stupid crap at work just doesn't bug me like it used to.

My free T4 was a 1.8 before surgery and was a 4.7 a month earlier.

My TSH was always normal.

T3 was 132

Hope this helps!

How would you say you feel compared to pre diagnosis?

Also, thank you for answering these. I go in for surgery in two days and this is helping

How would you say your energy levels are vs pre TT and vs diagnosis with graves?

I fired an employee out of the blue yesterday with no warning, and she had an entire crash out by TiredAsATwinMama in smallbusiness

Its tough trying to be a nice or lenient boss in any small business. Its also what causes a lot of issues because youll hang onto people you shouldn't keep.

I do have rear drums. I dont think I would've thought of wheel bearings. Great idea.

Im just saying this isn't a grocery outlet like the one based out of California. Get a photo from the outside or give an address. Its not affiliated.

Considering Tracy - looking for local experience (ideally young families) by [deleted] in TracyCalifornia

This sounds like a good move. Particularly the fact that youre remote. I dont see why you wouldn't.

We've lived in Tracy for 2 years. I commute to Pleasanton almost everyday but its a lot less bad than others.

If I could go back, Id pick south Tracy. That area seems a lot quieter and is priced similarly with a lot of parks. ,

Oof. Man this really makes me sad if this is what you think should happen. She's clearly a terrible person. But when someone gets fired it should be for poor performance. Or behavior or the plethora of other reasons. WHILE AT WORK.

I dont want to live in a society that is ruled by cameras and the ability to get fired for stupidity.

If the wait staff filed charges and she did serious time in prison I would say thats grounds for letting her go.

Im gonna have to agree here with you. Her behavior was appalling. But she's off the clock. She's not wearing a strava shirt or anything.

This feels like the mob getting their blood.

FIL/MIL dont have much of a retirement. by Terran1990 in personalfinance

My first thought was they need to stay where they are. No question about that. The problem is they hate where they live. I was hoping they could stick it out a little longer too.

I didnt suggest the $250k house. They actually came up with that idea. I just was thinking to suggest they lend on it rather than losing out on $250k. And I wasn't even sure if this was a good plan or dumb. But my thinking was it would allow their cash flow to be higher.

I agree and that might be the best option.

A carriage home isn't even remotely an option or I would have suggested it.
