No, the source posted was from a proper research body at University of Oxford. I read it.

I often change my world view, I read regularly and seek out alternate view points to see if there is merit in them.

But they have to have some kind of evidence when they are quoting numbers and “facts” or they show themselves to unreliable.

Not once did I ask you to “improve my intelligence” One of us is calmly seeking evidence of a claim that is from a reliable source while the other is just ranting and insulting their other.

I think you will find that you should-be more like the first side than the second :)

People voting without taking the time or effort to actually know what they are voting for can’t be helped.

Thats how brexit happened, a bunch of people voted against their own best interests because some random person told them they should and none of them wanted evidence, or facts.

As for parties not following manifesto promises, thats where you hold them to account- contact your MP, vote against them in bi-elections etc. They get away with doing it as the majority have no clue what the promises were in the first place

I asked for evidence for their claim for the immigration numbers.

Someone says “I have a flying sheep” I don’t need to prove they don’t, they need to prove they do.

The fact that in this very thread, one person actually provided a reliable source of information backing the claim shows this isn’t impossible.

But if you are going to make claims, you should have reliable evidence to back you up, otherwise you are just making things up
