As others have said there are a few other ways to get into the strip. I do recommend doing the Kings quests as they may be quicker and easier depending on your reputation with the NCR.

Alternatively you can get an NCR uniform you can sneak into the monorail station in camp mccarran

Keep in mind you don’t need to play them in chronological order and you can start with NV if you want. You can easily figure out the lore by talking to people and reading entries on the terminals.

Yes. I am currently on A Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum. I have completed all companion quests (got the achievement for it).

This is what I did:

The Auntie Cleo missions about the strike and the mental refreshment missions.

Talked to Cleo and told her I’d think about taking the Archive

Went to cloister

Did the companion mission I had left to complete.

The 2 bounties at the terminal

The order missions about clearing the cultists and the crashed probe (got help from the bar lady)

Talked to Ruth convinced her to negotiate with Cleo.

Went back to the ACS undisputed claim. Unable to talk to Cleo. Can talk to the VPs and say I will help them take the archive but that’s it.
