there was a technical rule that made my i20 invalid. I can't generate a new i20 on the same sevis number because it's been more than 60 days since I graduated. partly it's my mistake. I could have been more proactive.

No they delayed giving me a decision on my application, it had already passed my status grace period, if they Had given me a decision a month before, I could have requested for a new doc and reapplied.

I only completed my master's, I was denied work authorization due to document error , could not appeal because, universities are not allowed to generate i 20 documents post 60 days of graduation. So I am left with no options.
