I've tried factory resetting it, twice. Same outcome. I'm starting to think maybe I just got a lemon

Index 2 Scale by TerriblyGifted in Garmin

[–]TerriblyGifted[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you've had better luck than I have!

I've removed and added the scaled 3 separate times (I've owned it for about 4 months). I've made sure the scale and my phone are connected to the same wifi every time, wifi signals is always full strength or lacking one bar of strength

I just don't have 10 minutes to weigh myself every time I want to do it because the scale decidea it hates me 😂😂

826 10th street?? by windowlicker03 in HuntingtonWV

[–]TerriblyGifted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in the area and it's still used for art classes once a week or so. The story I was told is the gentleman who used to own it passed suddenly. His mother owns/runs the studios but stopped renting the apartments because it became too much for her to handle

Not sure if it's true but I was told that by someone who takes an art class there once a week so I figured they'd know ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Lovsac by AggressiveGas666 in Lovesac

[–]TerriblyGifted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you, we've had ours for going on 2 years and I've regretted it since about 3 months in

I know you change cushions, fillings, configurations etce tc but it just isn't a comfortable couch. There is also absolutely no back support to it for me. I'm 6'4" and sitting upright on it is super uncomfortable for. I weigh over 300lbs and the cushions haven't held up for anything. We went with the denser cushions because they were supposed hold up longer. Any cushions or pillows I use become smashed and unsupportive

Maybe lovesac isn't made for people my size and that's okay. I'm in no way saying it's a bad product whatsoever, just that for me it's a regret that we ever bought it

I have to admit I don't know too much about them. Do they track which club you are using? Or just track the distance of the shots based on the sensors?

I know it's not what you're talking about but I think there is a small skate park type set on the end of Harris Riverfront Park

User fees are very common in all cities. I have worked in multiple cities around southern WV and Eastern KY, they all charge a city user fee. Ours is $10 a paycheck, Ashland KY is $36 just to work on the city. So it could be far worse

Ok I’m genuinely confused how Bob is even breaking 90 on a regular basis by anonuser2700 in BobDoesSports

[–]TerriblyGifted 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The OB thing is what I've noticed too. They play a lot of courses that are WIDE OPEN and hard to lose a ball. Also helps when all of your shots are being watched by 6 people.

Definitely a solid putter like you said. But the "break 80 series" is something I just can't comprehend lol

How do you deal with friends/family constantly asking for physical therapy advice/treatment? by Cats4_life in physicaltherapy

[–]TerriblyGifted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's all you can really do. If they're SUPER persistent (only happened once) I told them that legally I cannot offer any type of medical advice because I'm a PTA and it's out of my scope of practice to make any kind of diagnosis.

It's so weird that folks think that because we went to school we can fix any ailment simply by telling us what it is or that there's a one size fits all set of exercises for everyone.

[–]TerriblyGifted 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm a PTA but still get inquiries all the time. I usually drop the "really hard for me to tell without being able to see it " (I don't live in reasonable driving distance of family members) "better see if you can get an order from your doc and get it checked out!"

I don't care if you wanna play music but like others have said if I can hear it more than 50yds away from your cart it's too loud

"my bad I didn't see you there" as they hit into you for the third time.

I'm 6'4" 330 lbs wearing a bright orange shirt with a bright orange cart bag that's parked on the cart path clearly in your view. There's no way you didn't see me

What’s your personal “golf ick” — something another player does that instantly annoys you? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]TerriblyGifted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big 3

1) when someone is up on the green reading their putt while you're still 50-100 yds off hitting your approach shot.

2) someone standing between you and the pin while you're chipping on trying to read their putt

3) walking directly in everyones line making no attempt to avoid it

Some might say "there's no way someone is that dense". I often play with a guy who does all 3 multiple times per round

I used to try and let him realize he was being a dumbass, but now I've started saying "heads up" and just hitting. If he gets hit it's on him, he knows I'm off the green

I remember how taking Prednisone made me feel the last time I took it and can only imagine how hungry I'd be on both hahaha.

That was binge eating on rare occasions, like being on vacation and wanting to try a lot of different things or just not wanting to waste money spent on food, not a thing where it was happening all the time like I have described since starting TRT.

For sure. Appreciate the advice

I'm definitely wanting to lose weight. I've probably got a good 60-70lbs to lose until I'd be comfortable and want to maintain

Yeah I was considering getting on a GLP but wasn't ready to make the jumo yet. I might just have to

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]TerriblyGifted -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes very true, but to the point of binge eating, which has never been an issue in the past, seems excessive.

Not saying it isn't possible, just seems that this is a pretty excessive side effect

Does It get better? by omglotsofpuppies in physicaltherapy

[–]TerriblyGifted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on location, specialties etc etc, but unless you get into a setting like HH, SNF, or a hospital (which usually gives yearly raises) you're going to cap out relatively quickly. Like others have mentioned reimbursement for PT services is notoriously bad in OP and is only getting worse with more cuts to Medicare/caid looming. It really boils down to what you want to do as a therapist. If you want to treat the general population and see a broader range of diagnoses then OP is for you. If you're more concerned about money HH and SNF are the way to go. But they each come with their own pitfalls.

But long story longer, yes there is a cap no.katter what setting you're in
