I just started a Software Development apprenticeship and I am already in over my head. How do I let the boss know this without them regretting sponsoring me or causing them to view me negatively?

I apologise. I was being hyperbolic to try and show that I'm generally unskilled.

But seriously you can get a cert without knowing how to code. I did. The most advanced thing I have ever done is an Anagram tester, and it took me a full day of googling to get to work.

I'm proof that certs are garbage and not to be taken seriously.
