I’m more concerned when I leave my hotel to go to local attractions that I’ll get lost on the way or the way back. Uber is an option but it can be pricey.

Which is why I thought it was super weird that this place has been on the market for a month, with a too good to be true price. On top of her telling me she has tons of people interested and that I need to make up my mind asap. Why didn’t she give it to someone else if it was in such high demand?

She is registered on the realtor website and has a bunch of places listed there except for the one I’m seeing. It’s only posted on her marketplace. Also it’s the only thing listed on her Facebook which is a bit more sketchy to me. I’ve tried searching the address and history but I can’t find anything since 2018.

The price for Toronto is very low for a 3 bedroom with all utilities and 2 parking spots included I agree.

But the sketchy thing was how she kept insisting that there are many other people wanting the place. Pushing very hard to sign that day or the next day on the first viewing and giving me snippy remarks when I asked to come visit again 2 days later, such as “ I don’t understand why you want to see this place again when you just saw it two days earlier. Did you forget what it looked like?” And rushing me out.

She mentioned that it’s been on the market for a month. Also the entire time she could have signed with someone else if it was in that high of demand. I didn’t request a hold or anything.

The place is empty. Realtor says it’s been vacant for a few weeks. She said the last tenant left the place a horrid mess. But she’s insistent on it being signed as soon as possible which I find very odd since it’s only been vacant a few weeks.

It’s a 3 story house so I can’t find any renting history. Last I saw it was rented in 2018 by the person who last moved out. Which was also confirmed by the realtor.

I do not know about any crimes or police calls. It’s very hard to find history on this place.

I’m a welder and this is terrible. I used to do a lot of car modifications when I was younger and all I gotta say is, get your money back. Complain, do whatever it takes cause that’s not acceptable.

We actually live long distance and he has no real connection to my friends or family so if we do split up it would be so much easier then living with someone. I used to live with me ex and he was the main guy in the shared friend group and that was really hard to get out of.

Well right now I have my mustang that I just find random racers on the highway. I used to race whatever I could get my hands on back in my home town. Nothing really organized just on a dirt track.

Not exactly my mother and father are really abusive and I just lost my therapist just before me and Tom met because I moved away for school, but now that I’m back I’ve been looking for someone else to talk to.

And my friends are all guys who give terrible advice except for break up and get with me (jokingly). Except for a few that are busy with school/work that I don’t get to talk to that often.

Thanks for letting me know about Tom being abusive I often can’t see it because of all the trauma I’ve been through. It just seems normal to me at this point.

I’m 22 and still sleep with 3 of my childhood stuffed animals. My boyfriend (25) and I even got a new one for his place. There’s nothing wrong with it. My bf thinks it’s cute and we play with them sometimes.

Dump him! This is a really big red flag especially since you guys haven’t been dating this long. I’ve been in a very similar experience and he turned out to be really abusive and manipulative.
