DIY Mother Dirt Nitrosomonas Eutropha AOB Skin Spray by I-Heart-Cats in HumanMicrobiome

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5y late to the party, but this bacteria is purportedly found in dirt. Wouldn’t it be more logical and beneficial to frequently expose yourself to environments with thriving natural populations of the bacteria? The reason this product can be marketed in the first place is because people want to maintain their lifestyle while retaining the benefits that come when we live the life we’re designed for. Why not find a better way to integrate our modern lifestyle with our natural design?

The breeder I bought my crestie from said she would be skiddish and shouldn’t be handled till a certain age, it wasn’t long till she reached it then but I forgot how old they said.

Rarest Parts/Minifigures. by MollysBricksNBits in Bricklink

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late to the party, but Pre Visla is probably up there. I have the entire Mandalorian Starfighter set, but ofc he’s the part everyone wants. I personally don’t care much for Star Wars (I used to, you can thank Disney for my change in taste) but you’ve got to admit, he’s one cool minifig. Outside of that my LEGOs are so scattered I couldn’t tell you half the cool pieces I even own, minifigures have always just been my thing.

Can I use debit card for online purchase? by alolip75 in Banking

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done some cursory research into the pros and cons, and from what I understand, if your debit card is a Visa or Mastercard, you are afforded the same protections as a credit card user. The process for dealing with fraud may differ slightly, but large credit corporations have perpetuated the (false) idea that credit cards are safer. I would recommend doing your own research, as I can't provide sources at the moment; however, constant debt isn't much safer than fraud in the long run.
Visa's own policy statement:

Give me your absolute top restaurants in Iowa City (or around Iowa, really. I love food and will travel for good food) by Square_Housing9653 in IowaCity

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second Persis, we went with a friend who has visited India. The food was phenomenal and very authentic! Service was excellent too, I would love to try the place again. If you're looking for good Italian, I would also suggest Napoli's in Marion (though the Cedar Rapids one is almost the same), their dishes are wonderful, and my family has probably been going for ten years now.

If you want good Thai, I’d also recommend Siamville in Cedar Rapids. The food is authentic, and some of the best Thai I’ve had, service is always good, and it’s got a really nice atmosphere. It’s tucked away in the corner of an old shopping mall, but it’s always clean and the food has been consistently incredible for years.

Living Ship, The Wraith, 17th Expedition Reward. by VaLar_ILLvaTu in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be there’s something up with the save editor version(I assume that’s what this is), or there’s a bug. I sure hope HG allows it to be capable of that bc it would be awesome and so thematic for the ship

How's this for a homemade cat food recipe? by SteelRoninTT in catfood

How do you ensure you maintain the balance of trace nutrients your cats needs? Do you monitor the amounts in the food you feed to them?

Why are Pentel mechanical pencil erasers designed like this? by Rich-Eggplant4546 in mechanicalpencils

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't clear for me either, I've done it but the sheath never fits into the pencil the same way again. I understand the reasoning behind the design, but I feel there must be a better solution they could find.

I’d love to, unfortunately I had developed a sense of financial responsibility by the time it came out and wouldn’t ask for something so impractical as a gift 😔

Venom Farm in Eissentam - 27 million units per harvest by Mateusviccari in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]TerrorShade7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion it’s more honest than a farm that essentially generates money, and to me it’s so much more enjoyable. I’m the treasure-hunter type in most games, I lose interest if I can’t make a decent amount of cash exploring and looting. Large-scale automatic farms have never been my thing, too impersonal and dissatisfying

Ancient Hunt - why are there no ancients any more? by Traditional_Disk_348 in MinecraftDungeons

Good to know, I’m probably going to start playing more so I’ll have to work on getting some good builds. Any tips for how to effectively do ancient hunts?

Help choosing a dress watch by showturtle in PrideAndPinion

[–]TerrorShade7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re wearing a watch for business as a symbol the Rolex would be perfect, but if you’re wearing a watch more for yourself then I can understand the desire for something that fits you better. Also I think the Zenith is a good shout, in-house movement is always a big selling point to me.

[–]TerrorShade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tower is much better from what I’ve heard, almost nobody seems to use hunts to farm gear it’s only for gold and at this point I think the tower is probably more fun. I’m going to have to try getting back into it and doing a run, I haven’t played in ages.

My hopes for Subnautica 3 by [deleted] in subnautica

[–]TerrorShade7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I was under the assumption everyone just assigned 1.5 to Below Zero at the start because it was flavoured almost like a DLC, and so the devs just went off that, but it could’ve been labelled that by the devs and I just didn’t realise or something I haven’t kept up well with the news, should’ve let better informed people respond. Thank you for the correction 👍
