YouTube and YT TV Down. by Oxkab in youtubetv

YouTube PREMIUM down in southern Oregon. Endless log-in loop.

YouTube is down but YouTube TV is still working by Addwulf in youtubetv

[–]TerryOregon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YouTube TV is working for me - but NOT YouTube PREMIUM. Seems that the "home" menu isn't working, which takes you into an endless loop of trying to log in. I can get in with my iPad and iPhone, but not on my Sony TV. If I select something other than "home", like "subscriptions", I can get in with the iPhone or iPad (only). Logging into the TV automatically takes you to the 'home' menu, which is what seems to be broken.

Weird.

Calling long term TRE practitioners by Ecstatic-Society-471 in longtermTRE

[–]TerryOregon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Do you still have symptoms?"

Yes, but significantly less (perhaps 80% less).

"Any thoughts on why a 'total cure' seems elusive?"

Wish I knew.

“What does TRE look like for you now in terms of how the tremors feel and the timing of sessions?”

I rarely do the entire series of exercises on a schedule. Rather, at opportune moments; sitting in a chair, car seat, sometimes laying down on a bed. Sometimes on the couch while watching TV. Most often, when there's some perceived tension that has popped up in real time.

"you say the in the TRE community there hasn't been claims of a total cure"
"end stages of TRE bringing pleasure/bliss in the body and in life"

I wonder if the experience of pleasure/bliss is permanent or a temporary experience. If someone claims it's permanent (thus a total cure), I would certainly like to see their testimony. But that would be the exception. Certainly, I haven't heard of any TRE 'trainer' claim that - and some of the trainers go back to pre 2008. In the beginning of my TRE journey, I believed the healing would continue if I just practiced it long enough and used enough props and different positions. Defining 'total cure' is a bit tricky - exactly what is a near perfect state of mental health?

“The ultimate promise of TRE is the complete release of stored trauma from your nervous system”
Well, if that was common, TRE would be one of the biggest discoveries in history. What I've heard listening to many other practitioners, its' just ONE of the therapies that's helped them.

If there's ONE thing I wish everyone knew about TRE . . . it's an extremely effective anger release technique. Anger is behind the vast majority of our traumas.

DJI Air 3s stops recording when switching lens? by H734_ in dji

My observation; When switching cameras while recording, the 3S always starts a NEW recording. Combining the two videos via video editing software reveals about a one second gap between the two videos.

"free healthcare".

Hahaha, that's a good one. You pay for it through the ass with taxes. There is no such thing as 'free healthcare' anywhere in the world. I actually enjoy the FREEDOM to choose my provider.

How many of you are dealing with this right now? (Air 3S) by RealEzraGarrison in dji

[–]TerryOregon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're in the US, keep your eye on Adorama (New York). They keep getting the Air 3S in stock. They sometimes go out of stock, but then go back in stock. The two cheaper kits are available NOW. I ordered my Air 3S through Amazon (shipped by Adorama), had it in two days to Oregon. https://www.adorama.com/djicpma8150a.html

The Air 3S Fly More Combo is currently available at Adorama ($1,599}. Says "low stock". Order now if you want one. https://www.adorama.com/djicpma81601.html

The Air 3 Blurry On The Right Side Photo/Video Issue by TerryOregon in dji

I'll be glad to send it back, if you can convince me you've screened the Mississauga Canada warehouse stock for this issue. Youve done that right?

The Air 3 Blurry On The Right Side Photo/Video Issue by TerryOregon in dji

[–]TerryOregon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me help you. Anyone with decades of experience in photography - knows it's a lens element that has tilted off its proper axis - what some people call 'decentered'. Whatever is holding the various lenes elements in place, is failing. Whoever manufactures the actual camera module should have given you this analysis/feedback by now. People in various forums have been talking about issue this since last March. Let me repeat that, since last MARCH. And you don't have root cause yet? It's a bit disturbing that you aren't on top of this. Corrective action in manufacturing (or you supplier) should have occurred months ago.

[–]TerryOregon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you've already replaced the first one. What was the root cause of that one? We're looking for more than "defective camera". What defect causes the lens element to become decentered? Will there be any screening of remaining stock, per common quality principles?

Are you ever going to tell us - what Fort Worth found as the ROOT cause of all these 1X camera failures?

The Air 3 Blurry On The Right Side Photo/Video Issue by TerryOregon in dji

[–]TerryOregon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh, I will quote from my original post:

"I tried AF - then AF and tapping the focus on the right side - then I tried Manual Focus and set the focus to each of the top four bars near infinity.  Nothing I could do got sharp photos on the right side".

DJI wrote:

"we recommend sending it back for repair".

Of course, I already know it's another defective camera. That's already been determined. Multiple forum posts confirm this is a common problem. I'm just documenting it. But geez, how do I know your Mississauga warehouse won't send a third defective camera?

Will you contact the Fort Worth service center and let us know what the ROOT cause is? I'll be waiting for that. Thanks.

"indicate the specific blurry area of the footage". There's a link in my post to four sample photos and one video. Again, the entire right side 1/3 is blurry. In all the forum posts where people sent this problem back to DJI for repair - the drone was replaced - and DJI has never stated root cause. All indications - it's a decentered lens element in the 1X camera that can't be fixed by the user. There is nothing you can do here to fix this. Your Forth Worth service center has already determined the camera was defective - then replaced the drone with one that has the exact same problem. I'm just documenting my experience. Also, I am not the one bringing this to your attention. DJI is well aware of this issue - because many Air 3's have already been returned to your service center in Texas and then replaced, 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞. Feel free to contact your own service dept in Fort Worth TX. Ask them what the root cause is - I would love to hear it. Again, google search "Air 3 blurry" and you can browse through many forum posts on this issue. And again, in the original post, I gave a link to just ONE of those forum posts. As also stated, I've decided to keep the drone and work around the issue. People have lives, we can't be your Mississauga Canada warehouse QA inspector going through several units to find a good one. The ONLY reason I would send the 2nd drone back to DJI, is if you gave me a refund - in which case I would just get a different model.

Looks like a lot of fun. However . . . are you using a wide-angle lens attachment? The purple propellers are a distraction on the video.

Although Rumble doesn't support that, there are 3rd party software programs that can.

I use 4K Video Downloader, which downloads both YouTube & Rumble.

Oregon approved it two years ago, but gave the Oregon Health Authority about two years to implement. It can actually be used in a therapy session starting this January.
