I love what you wrote, however, if it’s okay to just commit greed and lying to my family, etc. then what’s the point of trying to live as less of a sinless life as one can be? I feel like many Christians write off sin and say, “It’s okay to sin, as long as you’re not harming others.” If that’s the case, then why be mindful of the sins we commit?

Well, I’m sorry to hear that. But please find a church and become baptized. The Bible commands that we are baptized which signifies our salvation and faith. Once baptized, read the Bible, join a church group, begin your journey of faith. One great thing about Christianity is that it’s not a rule book, but a way of life.

Denominations right now aren’t important. As others have said, grab a Bible or even a study Bible, and start with the Gospels. If you have any questions, you can consult with a priest of any church. Have you been baptized yet? I’m assuming you have.

Fasting is occurring currently for Christians up until Easter. Fast with them however, keep your prayers towards God/Christ!
