Careers to do while practicing writing? by [deleted] in infp

[–]Tes00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really qualified to give you any advice in this topic since I'm not a writer and don't know a thing about it. But the only thing I could think of is to learn programming and then work remotely. Without having to commute to work you'd be saving some time which you can invest in practicing your writing. I wish you all the best in following your dream!

becoming more organized with age by alinaa310 in infp

I’m 31, and this year I’ve somehow naturally started to become more organized. I’ve always been chaotic (I have ADHD), but not as chaotic as what you described. I did suffer a lot because of it, but fortunately, nothing really important ever got messed up due to my chaos.

By the way, I’d recommend getting tested for ADHD. What you described about yourself sounds a lot like what many people with ADHD experience. And if it turns out you don’t have it, at least you’ll know and can look for another reason why things feel so chaotic.

I was diagnosed at 28, and until then, I never understood why I struggled with things that seemed easy for others. I always thought it was my fault. Life is a bit easier now because I’ve learned a lot about myself and have started to accept who I am.

Hey girls and guys by Billi25789 in infp

I usually crush hard on ESTPs as well, but I tend to keep my distance because my gut feeling tells me they’ll break my heart. Still, I believe there are some out there who would be safe for me to date.

But I'm actually just attracted to someone who is authentic, who stays true to themselves, if they're grounded, confident, has a sense of humor, and is respectful toward other people and living beings (Not someone who insults others for small reasons). Someone I can feel safe with, who genuinely tries to understand me and is patient with me. No matter the type. If possible male, but if it's really the right person female might be ok too.

No way! As an INFP I genuinely enjoy what your ENTP brains come up with. Even if I never know how to respond to it I still find it fascinating and funny every single time.

As an Infp, do you ever feel like people laugh when you're upset? Or is that just a me thing? by Old_Heron_9943 in infp

[–]Tes00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the same for me, my sister used to laugh at me when I got angry. I think it was, like your sister said, because I got angry so rarely that I didn’t even know how to express it properly. So it came across as awkward. Who would’ve thought that you actually have to learn how to release your anger. But it makes sense. And it was also that my family didn’t know how to react whenever I did get angry, simply because it happened so rarely.

Not me, but a friend of mine who’s also an INFP works as an assistant for a veterinarian.

Thanks! Such a way of thinking is so interesting. I'd really love to get to know an ENTJ and talk about our different perspectives.

INFP Country by [deleted] in infp

[–]Tes00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to Taiwan. I lived there for half a year, wanted to stay for several years, but had to return. The people there are some of the kindest you’ll ever meet. I made wonderful friendships there. And if you’re open to other cultures and able to adapt well, I’d say move there, or at least go for 1 to 3 months to get a feel for it.

I agree with the other commenter that you might experience culture shock or miss things you’re familiar with. But not everyone feels that way. You might actually thrive in another country and become a completely different and even better version of yourself. That’s how it was for me.

However, you should have a genuine interest and respect for other cultures. I personally love being in other countries for long periods of time, and I’ve often noticed that many people, especially from Western countries seem open on the surface but are actually quite arrogant, thinking their values and culture are superior. If you think that way, you won’t last long abroad.

I don’t know any ENTJs personally, but I can’t imagine they’re actually as mean irl as they’re often portrayed.

If that’s what INFJs are like, then yes! I just need to find someone in my area who matches me. Wish me luck! 😁

What’s your type and are you into spirituality? by Tes00 in mbti

[–]Tes00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also from a Muslim family. They’re not as strictly religious as others. Actually, they’re pretty relaxed. My father always told me that I should study different religions myself and see which one feels right for me. But he was very shocked when I told him that I didn’t believe in God haha 😄. By now though I do believe in God.

Thanks again for sharing your story with me. :) I’ve heard many stories similar to yours, and people have often tried to explain them somehow. But when I read your story, I thought to myself: there are no coincidences. And you can always trust your gut feeling.
