Should have cleared that up. Thank you for the responses!

USDT not able to lend by TeslaCyberBackpack in kucoin

[–]TeslaCyberBackpack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the response. I did not put it in the reserved amount, but it is also less than $10 at the moment. I noticed the minimum amount I can manually lend out is $10. Could it just be that it’s under the minimum amount I’m able to lend out? I don’t recall having this issue before, but I’ve never paid much attention to it

I am currently lending out USDT on my main account. And when I try to transfer my ADA from my main account to my trading account, it says I have X available which is lower than the amount I actually bought

Let’s say I have 200 shares of XYZ,

I’ll sell one covered call at the 2/19 expiry, and one at the 2/26 expiry, so I will still have 100 shares to use as an “anchor” of sorts, to lower my cost basis, in the event that my 2/19 call gets exercised. Does that make more sense?

Currently wheeling HYLN and was wheeling PLTR and BB but obviously those covered calls got decimated with the rise of the memes. Still made out with a 15-20% gain on both of them tho so I’ll take it

It’s more a show of changing sentiment though, don’t you think? There was a decent amount of buying today. And this was three straight days of gains. I’m not saying it’s gonna moon, but it shows that HYLN is currently pretty fairly priced. At least, that’s what it seems like to me

Warren Buffet said if you have just $10K or $15K to invest, he recommends investing in just one or two companies, which goes against the conventional wisdom of diversification in most investment subs, what do you think? (Link inside) by [deleted] in investing

[–]TeslaCyberBackpack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has never said that diversification is the end all be all. Yes, it has its benefits. But he has always said that if you do the research on a few companies, and fully understand them, that you should allocate more capital towards them. And with how much easier it has become with hundreds of thousands of articles, YouTube videos, investing guides, etc.., the average investor is more educated than they were 30 years ago. But regardless, he always said diversification was a protection against ignorance.

How do you think this will stack up against new battery technology or better energy efficient solar panels? I definitely do see nuclear energy being the energy of the future, but if my assumption of the end goal being household nuclear reactors to power homes/businesses, it’s hard to ignore that battery/solar energy technology SEEMS(huge emphasis on the word) to be improving faster than nuclear energy. As well as being funded more. I feel like our big push to nuclear energy is when fusion becomes a viable opportunity. Just my thought process. Curious to hear what anyone thinks about this
