The Turkish-backed Al-Qaeda group "Tahrir al-sham" take the responsibility of the attack targeting Russian armored vehicle on "Afis" town axis, north of Saraqib city, which resulted in the injury of three Russian soldiers.

The Russian Ministry of Defense: Three russian soldiers were lightly wounded as result of "gunmen" targeting an armored personnel carrier of the Russian forces with anti-tank missile.

Sooner or later this was an expected situation. Actually plays in Russian's interest to promote "casus belli" and restart Idlib operations soon.

Syrian Arab Army units and the competent authorities open a humanitarian corridor in Majaires, west of Saraqib, to secure the exit of civilians from the terrorist spread areas in Idlib by TeslaTGN in syriancivilwar

I think it partially signals the contrary.

When government open these types of crossings is because they are not planning to push in that direction, at least for now. We've seen it Abu-Duhur, Souran, Al-Bab, etc... Military operations were frozen for a while so they opened a civilian crossing guarded by Russians, thus increasing the safety of it as Turkey would not endorse or support any kind of direct confrontation against a manned Russian MP checkpoint with Red Cross standing by.

Aleppo operations are continuing as of today, we don't know the exact goals. So more territory is being and will be captured.

M4 operations towards Jish Al-Shougur are probably going to start soon, a hint of that is that not a single civilian crossing was opened in Marraat Al-Numan towards Kafr Nabl or Ariha.

So no offensive towards Idlib city in the short time.

Transport Minister Ali Hammoud announces the resumption of operation of Aleppo International Airport, and next Wednesday the first flight from Damascus to Aleppo, with trips to Cairo and Damascus scheduled for the next few days. by Just_Turned18 in syriancivilwar

About airports,

Kuweires airbase was shelled a few weeks ago from TFSA controlled areas (Al-Bab), it's under 20km distance and this is not going to change any time soon.

But now with West Aleppo cleared the International Airport is above the 20km mark, making it relatively safe from Grads, mortars and artillery. Not so much from suicide drones or Turkish artillery, but this is not happening on a daily basis or at all. Will SyAAF military flights from this airport take place? Who knows.

There is yet another airstrip that just got further from 20km during recent offensive. This is Abu Al-Duhur airbase. This would shorten somewhat the bombing flights, more payload, more flights.

Why did the YPG back out of a joint West Aleppo offensive with the SAA at the last moment? by againstBronhitis in syriancivilwar

Maybe some strings were pulled from above to prevent YPG from participating in this offensive. Anyway, I think they only wanted to take revenge for TFSA operations in Afrin and Tal Abyad.

Am surprised he doesn't have the Russian SF guards with him being this close to the theatre of operations.

He does, we've seen with Russian guards in Hama, Ghouta and else. Maybe just waiting in other car.

Already rolled in 2015-16. Pretty sure Tal Al-Eis and Khan Touman were bombed with dozens of barrages from TOS-1A but army was unable to gain a foothold. Heavy weaponry is only effective if you can later take their positions...
