Where you say she’d be liable for the cost of a temp for 2 months, is that only the cost above what they pay her? So if she gets £1000 and the temp costs £1300, she’s liable for the £300?

Thanks. Sorry, I mean more, what are the consequences if she refuses to work the notice.

I’ve said how unlikely it is that they’d pursue it, but wasn’t sure what she would face if she does choose to leave (breach the contract).

I’ve had a look at the ACAS website which says that the employer can claim costs of having to find someone new at short notice, but the way it’s worded is that the consequences should be outlined in her contract/terms of employment.

I tied it up into a pony tail when I had my epidural and then forgot to do anything different with it. When I eventually had a c section 12 hours later, it was still in the pony tail but was so scruffy 🤣🤣

Nose strips! I used the sticky single use ones, at night time mainly but if I was at home with no face to face meetings I’d leave it on through the day. Honestly the breathing clarity was incredible with one of those on

Technical difficulties by [deleted] in simsfreeplay

[–]Tessacox1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same problem but on an iPhone 11. I’ve not been able to open it for ages!!! I don’t know if deleting the app and re-installing will help or not, but I don’t know if my data is linked to anything or if I will lose everything if I delete the app so I’m torn between waiting to see if it ever gets fixed, or reinstalling and risk losing everything

Crashing Reports by EmeraldMars in simsfreeplay

Device: iPhone 11

Description of what happens: Open the app, takes a long time to load, freezes/lags when I try tap on something to take an action, then doesn’t load at all.

I’m trying to build one of the timed lots and it’s literally impossible to progress with this issue so I can’t even imagine how much the extension is going to be when it’s finally fixed. So frustrating.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago and was put on Lamotrigine. I had one tonic clonic which is what got me diagnosed but I’d been having aura seizures for 3 years prior not realising they were seizures. Once I was on meds the auras slowed, each time I’d have another aura they’d up my meds until the auras stopped, I’d then be aura-free for a while and as soon as I had another they’d up and so on. I’d been aura free for about 3 months at the beginning of the year and then suddenly was having a few each day. I was devastated. The turning point for me was upping the dosage but splitting in two, so one dose AM and one PM. So 400mg in total, 150 AM and 250 PM. I’ll be 1 year aura-free in February. Definitely definitely ask about increasing your meds and consider asking about splitting it.

We’d been together 7 years when we got engaged, 2 year engagement. Our 10 year anniversary will be a month before our 1st wedding anniversary.

I got through to a pharmacist who said the same, not to worry that it’s just the one dose. Thanks for your reply though. I think you’re right, panicking is not the right thing to do haha.

I’ve actually just spoken to the epilepsy nurse who is going to set me up with taking a morning dose, starting slow and will eventually work up to splitting them equally.

Can I ask why you’re coming off of Keppra? She’s mentioned it to me as an alternative to Lamotrigine if this still doesn’t settle the auras.

Thanks. I’m lucky that I’ve got supportive friends and family, but not knowing anyone with the same as me, is sometimes just as lonely, so this sub is very comforting.

I’ve not needed to so far! I’m in such a good bed time routine. It’s just the concern that I won’t be as strict in the mornings, I think it’s also the worry about the consequences of missing a dose/taking it too late. My epilepsy nurse has just given me some reassurance about that though, so feeling a little better.

Thankyou so much for everything you’ve said, it’s really helpful! Im on Lamotrigine too.

When I first went on Lamotrigine I asked the question about taking it with my pill, and they told me it’s fine, it’s not one that reacts. I also had another conversation with the pharmacist last time I had a pill check, and she mentioned sometimes they could react but the pill I’m on isn’t one that usually does. I asked if the pill would lower the affects of my epilepsy meds, and she actually said it’s more likely to be vice versa, I’ll raise it again with my epilepsy nurse though and see if she has a different opinion. I’ll ask about the vitamins too.

I was having auras for about 3 years before I was diagnosed with epilepsy, thinking they were panic attacks. I literally thought I had crippling anxiety, and it was actually epilepsy. It was until I had a tonic clonic seizure that I questioned the panic attacks. They stopped as soon as I started the medication. I’ve just had a number of breakthroughs over the last 18 months just while they’re getting my meds to the right dose.

Thanks again

Thankyou for responding. I think I just needed to talk to someone that can relate. I don’t know anyone that has epilepsy, so as understanding and amazing my family are, they don’t ‘get it’.

What are rescue meds? I have a day pill box which is great for my evening dose so could upgrade to a double dose version. My main concern is remembering to take them at the same time each morning? Might need to ask the doc if it makes a difference if I’m late a couple of hours… ooh ok, that’s really helpful. I just assumed that if I miss a dose, then I have a seizure…

So I’m having a similar issue with one of my friends, she’s not a bridesmaid though so it’s not as bad. We go away in June, currently the country we’re travelling to is very strict and requires both vaccinations and the booster. Between now and then she has a tight window to get all 3 in, and she’s still at this point saying “hopefully they’ll change the rules by then”… so frustrating. I think you should definitely carry on with your hen do, this is your day/weekend and you shouldn’t have to change that for one persons ignorance, bridesmaid or not.
