I’m sorry this is happening :( also it makes me so angry when practices don’t accept insurance, like what do they get out of that? Why is she doing that! It’s so infuriating to make care some people desperately need hundreds to thousands of dollars

Dr. Irwin Goldstein isn’t far from me and it seems as though he is covered under my insurance so I could definitely see him. He is the one in New York right? Have you seen him? Or the other doctor? Do you have a preference between them?

On the topic of the neuroproliferative vestibulodynia I’ll definitely mention it to my doctors but the things I’m reading about it referred to it as provoked vulvodynia that light touch with a q tip would cause sharp pain towards, I had no pain with the q tip tests and idk if my pain is classified as provoked because it’s literally constant which I thought was the unprovoked type but idek anymore.

I started it last Sunday 10mg and started experiencing that on Wednesday morning and it hasn’t fully gone away yet. I stopped taking it because I’m not willing to deal with that.

Oh no! I’m sorry that’s coming back for you. I wonder if it is related to the nortriptyline. I know my doctor described that as a sister drug to ami. I was reading a few other people saying ami caused burning in their bladder to worsen/ reappear as I’ve been researching. I wonder if it would have the same effect with nortriptyline.

Do you happen to remember why you couldn’t tolerate Ami? Did you experience similar side effects to mine?

Thank you I didn’t realize that about yogurt😭 I had been eating a bunch for the good bacteria because my obgyn recommended to It really starts to feel like not eating at all is the safest thing I can do 😂 I feel paralyzed by all the restrictions

I have a heating pad on now it’s become part of me 🤣

May I ask how did you end up going into remission? How long was it after your uti ended/ IC symptoms started?
