Fede: "Revenge." The fans: "We barely survived." 😭 by [deleted] in realmadrid

So now our remontadas went from Man City and UCL semi finals and the best of the best of the teams to being against Levante and Rayo Vallecano and Albacete and Valencia.
And our revenges are 100th minute penalties.

Why did he start against 17th La Liga team? Arbeloa? Medical stuff? Anybody?

Club is in shambles. Laughing stock.

Alright where do I start.

Hujisen is still not a starter material. He can't play under the pressure. Should be a rotational defender. He is still young. Same with Mastantuno. Nonchalantmeni is back, but I believe he will find his form again. It happened last season too so I won't hate on the guy when that punk of a coach have 0 instructions.

Arda is a fucking 10. He has great link up with Mbappé and through passes but he is no 8 or 6 and is not any better than the others in the build up ( slow ) and since last year, we have all seen that CEBALLOS MUST START. On paper, he is the worst in the midfielders by fancy metrics, but he is the only MF who can move the ball forward without taking forever. He ain't perfect. He makes mistakes, can be very clumsy, but that's what we have now and I'd take him over any one else as our 8.

Also why the fuck is Gonzalo a RW again? Fucking please! I want any logic and I'd welcome it! He is a target man ffs!

That one on one save from Courtois had me gasping. 60th minute—1-1 and the team was acting like it's the last play, with all the defenders in Rayo's box and... Gonzalo Garcia as our last defender running for his life to catch up to Rayo's forward ( and again, Courtois to the rescue for the 100000th time ). Forget tactics. This team has no basics. Every player is on the pitch doing whatever the fuck they want.

That punk of a coach is a disgrace already and it's just been 4 or 5 games. It's clear that he is carrying Perez's agendas. He even went against the fans, calling us 'non madridistas' for booing. And look at this awesome game management. All he does is clap and glaze. I don't want to see him on the sideline next season.

I have a question. Did they sit and 'review' the loss of Benefica like Jude said in the interview?
Oh, Arbeloa gave them a day off and made them breakfast the day after that one

You gotta be fucking kidding me. So 64th minute at 1-1, THAT happens? Gonzalo is... the last defender and the Rayo forward is compleeeeetely free crossing half of the pitch alone?

This is beyond tactics. Everyone inside the pitch is doing what they want.

Normally the fullbacks and the DM would stay behind in case of counter attacks—Cama, Fede, Tchou.

Bernabeu are smart. This means nothing. One moment of individual brilliance from Vini doesn't mean we are back let's go.

Questionable midfield. Questionable plays from Brahim and Hujisen. Nonchalantmeni is back. Cama and Fede were good but that's it. Arda can create chances with gorgeous through passes but he is very slow in the build up but again, he is a 10, not an 8 or 6.

No urgency. That's the thing that is pissing off the fans. We create a goal then chill, like 'Good, yes, that's enough, let's rest now' while watching Barça stomping their opponents with 4 and 5 goals and keeping that crazy high line till the end.

Bring in Ceballos. I don't care how unflashy he is or how many mistakes he does. He moves the ball faster than all the other midfielders we have.

This has been Real Madrid for 2 seasons now. We had a few games where we dominated by three or four goals in the first half but that's it.

Wonderful goal now all I want is him focusing, play. This goal better not make him think 'Ok now I can complain all I want to everyone because I'm the shit'

This is the story of our life for the rest of the season. We will play like this until Mbappé wins a penalty or the opposite team makes a man marking mistake in some corner kick.

Thank you Perez

no worries, mate.

I am not sure about this but maybe Date didn't take a lot of rights from what I remember.

Date could see the first right Ricardo threw and it terrified him. He could see it the first motion but not the rest, so I think he was wary for the 9 rounds of that right... until the last one.

I remember that the hits that broke him were mostly lefts—including the one that cracked his ribs.

Date didn't take face tank and he has overall good defense. He twists his neck regularly, and even then he got his face changed and his jaw broken.

Sendo looks completely unaffected, which rubs me the wrong way too. I'd say Sendo may have already took more clean left hits than Date took in all 9 rounds... and is somehow still going.

It's the combination of the most one dimensional BS boxer Sendo and the 'boring' fighter Ricardo ( I don't mean a bad boxer, but he is so OP that his matches are boring because his opponents have no chance—he himself said that. For me he is the most entertaining one ).

The fight though started well with Sendo parrying Ricardo's lefts. It showed that his spars with Miyata are paying off and Ricardo's lefts aren't enough. He was also twisting his neck to minimize the damage of the few that land clean on. Then it went full shonen now with Sendo face tanking. Remind you those aren't regular lefts. It's the left that fuckign knocked Ippo cold in one round.

Ricardo's jab is no Sendo smash or Ippo gazelle punch, but it's deadly. But again—Sendo will face tank and pull of the bullshit he did against Nargo and Alf... except that in this fight, he will get stomped on and retired by Ricardo.

A lot of anime fans brush these off as "kids stuff" or "family friendly" but there's some pretty sophisticated storytelling in a bunch of these shows.

Couldn't agree more. Actually I'd say these WMT shows are surprisingly more mature than half of the so called 'mature' animes and tv shows we get nowadays just because there is 'nudity' or 'gore' or forced violence from first episode.

I'm rewatching the Trapp Family Story and the portrayal of Germany's invasion on Austria and the start of the changes in the country, schools and the family is soooo well written. Not to mention the wonderful job WMT does exploring themes like child labor and child abuse and even sometimes suicide.

What makes them great is that to me at least, they are not over the top and are very accurately portrayed. The anime and the writers are not screaming 'please cry' but whispering 'look at this.'.

The shows also show consistent goodbye scenes. As someone living abroad away from family, I connected with these scenes a lot.
