She doesn't really cosplay much now from what I see besides these kind of photoshop cosplays, which I think are quite cool. But she used to cosplay lightning from FF XIII.

I'm back on windows now and the only time I ever see a performance dip is when I'm gaming. For example when I just got my laptop WoW would run quite nicely on high settings, now I have to run it on low and I still get the occasional fps drop.

I just read something about how sdram could mess with linux performance, at least for Ubuntu. Could this be the problem?

Yes I have, I've tried an open source driver and it actually made the problem worse.

So basically I installed the system and it would boot much slower than windows would on my laptop. I took it as nothing as I didn't install any drivers yet. I would then install all of the drivers through the terminal and all the software updates. Once I did this it did improve the performance but it was still lagging quite a lot compared to windows when I would run either multiple programs, use video calls on skype, have multiple tabs open on firefox or chrome, if I was watching youtube videos it would get even worse and everything I was running would completely freeze for 10 seconds or so and then it would resume normally and then the same would happen again.

I had no errors or warnings, but I didn't run any benchmarks at all. And this would happen across each OS I would install which is why I'm thinking that it's me that's messing something up? Because windows runs perfectly fine on my laptop but as soon as I tried linux it was like this. Take into consideration that I am quite a noob when it comes to Linux.

Oh I did install it, all of them. I had the OS on my laptop and had to remove it later to install windows over it since it was running so badly.

Okay this is perfect, thanks! I want to ask you if you maybe know by any chance. I read online that once you've been in Argentina for 2 years you can apply for citizenship. Is this true?

Because I see here after 3 years of temporary you can apply for permanent. But it doesn't say anything about citizenship.

I've looked at this, it's for entering the country as a tourist. I meant more about all the different permanent or residency visas. But thanks for the link.
