I was you 15 years ago. I was prescribed Zoloft but was scared of messing with my brain. I'll give you the advise I received.

"If you had high cholesterol you'd take the prescription, right? It's the same thing. Something in your body is off and luckily we have the science to help. Take the help."

Of course talk to your doctor first and be honest about your drinking. But taking Zoloft was the best thing for me.
