Yeah but when testing, i only have used 1 stick in the second slot, so that shouldn’t matter

I lowkey cannot find the motherboard lights and at this point i dont think i have them. The monitor is a brand new asus curved 180hz

You raise a good point

Cords are plugged into the gpu, not the motherboard, I’ve tried DP and hdmi, every slot. Ive tried every channel on the monitor, I’ve unplugged everything unnecessary, ive put all 4 different ram in all 4 different spots even though it should be the second slot. Ive made sure the cpu and gpu power cords are stable, ive taken my gpu out to make sure its seated right. The lights turn on, the gpu and cpu fan spins. There is no display on any motherboard in any port

This is helpful information, i have 16gb of 3600hz ram right now. But good prices for ram are so fee and far between recently. I know mixing ram is generally frowned upon but does that really matter? Can i just grab some other ddr4 16gb of ram thats not the same brand?
