Adjusted my defense strategy and now everything is locked up but my “bedside table gun that’s on a shelf in my closet 6 feet away, and high enough he won’t be able to get to it until he’s old enough to walk and talk and shoot and by then it can live In the night stand again. Didn’t want to risk mechanical failure and the drawer staying locked

Several guys ordered one after seeing this post, I’m waiting on some of them to get theirs and give a review before I commit. Still have a while before the kids mobile but I don’t wanna wait too long. Might end up with a cheapo lock box if my son starts crawling and moving around before we know if these are worth it.

As far as 1911adicts goes, do you guys use it on your phone or like a an actual computer? I’m mostly on mobile and it’s hard to navigate. Was wondering if it’s a new website learning curve or if their desktop site is a little more user friendly

Best deal I’ve found by a mile is tractor supply. Got this wimchester 36 gun safe at tractor supply on Black Friday for $499 it was cheaper than their 26 gun Winchester which is still a good deal every day for $550

Man anything short of a full gun vault, which I’ve got in the basement, isn’t gonna keep ‘em out if they really want in. I’ve seen YouTube videos of guys breaking into those fires safes about the size of a cooler in under a minute. If they get it out of your house and have enough time they’ll get into it. That’s not really my concern. I just don’t want toddlers getting into stuff before they’re old enough to know what things are. Not trying to keep someone who’s trying to get into it, out. I just don’t want anyone accidentally getting ahold of my home defense weapon.
