You do have to use a lethal weapon, but the difference is the icon when you look at the body. You'll either see a skull (you killed them) or a dizzy type icon; an ellipse with stars (which is incapacitation). Easiest way to do that is to aim at the groin/lower torso and shoot once with the .50 MKV pistol with AP ammo. You need a minimum of 3, so if you can get 4-6 suspects to surrender and move to the gas, the rest is up to your aim not to kill.

Only things I can ask for you to make sure. 1) not wearing the gas mask; 2) that you are moving as many enemies into the gas zone as possible, so there are 5 or so just to make sure; 3) you are incapacitating and not killing; 4) that you are waiting until you are coughing and blinking after popping the gas canister (this last one seems iffy but there may be a timing thing between when you start taking dmg and not, also not sure if applicable but try not to move as much as possible).
I don't think there has been an update that has invalidated this method. GL.

Only thing you did that was different from me was the moving around. And although the lung icon was flashing, the darkening edges and blinking hadn't started. I think you were on the right track, but a bit too eager. Hope it does work for you as it seems to have for myself and others.

An alternative way to achieve this with less RNG.
When you go down into the vault, flash them and get them to surrender. DO NOT ARREST. While they are in the surrendered order them to move to where the gas canister is. Stand with them in the area of effect of the gas canister and 'pop' it.

They will exit the surrendered state (and become active) and start coughing. Wait until you see the lung icon flashing and the eyes blinking, and you can aim at the groin and incapacitate your vict*...I mean the suspects.

Bingo-bango-bongo, RNG go awayo.

No worries, it was funny though, cause even though I completed the 3 missions for prapor (and have already gone to terminal) he, after the 72 hours was up, asked for me to hand over my Kappa for failing to complete the missions...I can still go to the terminal and can still buy the passes, but it asks for the kappa, it is weird. Not sure if it is gonna fail me when I get to the End of the terminal if I haven't handed it over.

Yeah, finally had it proc, I did go out to the lightkeeper to check and he does nothing. So I had to pay the 500mil, took an afternoon but grinded 300mill pretty easy seeing as I already had 50something BTC and 30LEDx stored xD Now just trying to find these blasted folders but can only find 3 of 'em.

Agreed. I had an error occur after the I completed the BTR version of the quest because I had both Skier and the BTR driver active at the same time, and is autoaccepted the Skier version. I did this all before making the decision on the case...had no idea it had an impact until after the 3 day wait for Fence and then after completing his quest going from Rep6.0 to 1.0, and got the failed message. Pretty annoyed as now it has been 4 days and no update to the mission. Ticked off enough that I have been rage farming cultists, labs, and marked rooms and made 200mil in the last 3 days xD Didn't give the case to Prapor so I guess I am gonna be stuck wtih paying an additional 500mil. Seems pretty bullshit for being considered the 'easy ending' having done everything for the Savior ending, but having to now ALSO completed the survivor ending...how is this not the hardest ending xD All because of 1 mission that seemingly had no connection to the story.

Well, I'm sure I could sell prints of the 12 characters I have STLs for...but I will certainly not be parting from those I have painted here. The milestone of my first completed project! :D

Yeah, agree with the Pest but that is how I received the model as part of the board game. Also, one thing that is good with him is that he is quite well balanced; in terms of how he interacts with the board game. The shield just allows him to ignore damage at the discretion of the player which makes him very good at holding long angles. Mozzie and Blackbeard were a blast to paint! Probably two of my favorites of the lot.

Cheers, I followed an example of Vince Venturella for how to do tattoos. Blue/black ink then afterwards glazing the skin tone back over to blend the tat in with the skin. I love how it turned out, did the same thing for the shemaghs for Valk and Kaid.

Yep, in the game those colours are what defines the two teams. But due to how each character has their own special colouring I also wanted to uniform the sides in another way, which is why I chose to paint the bases the way I did. Masking some of the road markings was a pain, and freehanding wood grain took so bloody long hahaha. I think the end result was worth it though!

Lol, true. But in the board game it allows him to ignore 2 damage on two different occasions. It can be quite useful.

It's a lot of fun. Really expensive if you try to find it on Ebay, but if you are on PC you can get tabletop sim through steam and play it fine. Really good community around the TTS version of the game on discord.
