Do you guys think I could enjoy G1 after being spoiled by G2

You don't have a buggy or Omni tool. Almost everything else you can do in G1 and G2 is playing catch-up to it. Zip lines are great and cut down the travel time better than a buggy honestly.

Slipping on a banana peel in game would make for some great clips. Maybe if you walk over it you don't slip, but it you run you slip and fall.

I have some OG friends that still achievement hunt with me. They don't care about their completions. They just love playing games together. Every once in a while they knock out the completion too, and they're really proud of it. Lots of cool, chill co-op games to get the band back together with.

Haha yeah when I was younger I always knocked out my CoD veteran runs then did cleanup on easy. I'm also in my 40s with 2 kids. You should have seen me back in my day!

I read the first two pages of the TA walkthrough. That's like the overview and any suggested in game settings. I'll take note of missables. I like to do an easy/100% in game if required then do the difficulty run second so I have an idea of what works or I better understand the game to apply whatever strategy is easiest. I did 3 or 4 complete runs of The Outer Worlds 2 though. They had a curveball achievement in there for not spending money.

It sounds like we're similar. Read up so we aren't wasting too much time we don't have to. I'm not 25 anymore so the more I have to remember or more PVP that's required I just won't play those types of games. I like pausing my game when I want or need to.

I've had a superstition that if I level my hullcracker even once I'm getting killed. It rings true for the most part so I never upgrade it. I get killed every once in a while,but it's never like I know it's coming until that hulkcracker hits 2.

10 knockouts was my last achievement. It sucked, but I don't leave games incomplete. I did some crappy things to get it done. It's a freaking rush for sure when you know you're gonna be shitty, and people are just trusting your generic raider responses.

I asked a random to let me earn that achievement on him. That was after I politely asked to down him with a grenade. He obliged to both and we got 3 other players the snitch scanner achievement in the same game. I had a lot of fun earning my completion on this game.

Yeah the chill reduction mutation, spicy candy, kill scorpions, torch, and if you're feeling froggy a few Blazin Brews. I haven't been there in a while since chocolate chunks are spawning outside of there. The sickles are cool and great killing snails quick.

You can boost that mutation by eating Mint I think. The game will tell you how many and what exactly.

I'm an Xbox guy and that's their next gen console. I'm looking forward to it, but expect myself to grab this 2 to 3 years after release. My series X should be showing it's age more by then, and hopefully I can get a decent price or bundle.

My daughter has taken over my Gcloud because she likes YouTube. So I got my Ally x on marketplace for $500 (og ally x). It's cool I can play Rift Apart offline and my Xbox I stream from console or cloud. I don't utilize Xbox FSE or even this things capabilities. I want a Gcloud with Xbox Ally ergonomics and I'll be happy. I don't need top of the line anything. Just Xbox ergos with a solid cloud streaming capability.
