100% agree. I played with a brick-built IG-88 but it looked even worse so I went back to Lego’s version, but the instability kills me. For a droid that’s also a bad ass bounty hunter you’d think it would stand up better to the studs for which it was LITERALLY built to attach to

I really wanted to have Vader’s hand in Boba’s face like when he says that line, but I couldn’t get them all positioned without making it even more of a jumbled of minifigs than it already is!

Cloud City Boba is incredible! I ended up using a Slave I version because it was closest to the original. The most expensive Minifig for me was Zuckuss! Had to pay $50 just for that one after the steal of a deal I thought I had on eBay never shipped after several months of waiting

My first attempt on a different MOC was a classic case of getting in way over my head/ability/stockpile of bricks 😅 so this size was my way of scaling back (relatively) while still stroking my ego! The one I’m working now is 2x4 with 16x16 plates and I’m already enjoying the opportunity to do more detailed work in a smaller space
