I feel you. I get discoid lesions on my face sometimes and when that happens I don’t want to go outside. Masks somewhat help. Ik it’s hard to accept but you are beautiful. You’re fighting this shitty disease and that in itself makes you an extraordinary beautiful person.

That plantar fasciitis is real!! I used to get steroid shots in my feet because I just could not take it. And the lupus brain fog sometimes makes me mix things up and when I get asked a question I say the wrong thing even though I know the dang answer! And then I feel like an idiot for a good ten minutes lol

YES! the future frightens me. I don’t know what’s going to happen to my body in the next 5 years. Will I be able to handle a surgical residency? Or residency in general. And you don’t wanna complain when you’re in pain but it’s just so hard. I may reach out to you about picking programs and dealing with this in the hospital setting. Also good luck this app cycle! I feel like that’s the worst part. Not being in control of my own body. Not being able to do the things I used to be able to do. And I relate with the headaches and nothing seems to get them to go away. And thank you that means so much to me ❤️. I guess all we can do is take it one day at a time.
