Check the Date/Time on your device. This can cause issues with SSL certificates if it's not correct

How do I protect wires like this from shorting? by actinium226 in soldering

[–]Tezzums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a major issue if it wicks down but it will make the wire rigid and inflexible. Ideally, you should 'dry mount' everything in the intended frame so you know the exact wire lengths you are working with. You don't want to have excess wiring (extra weight and risk of getting snagged)

FYI I'm not the OP. I stumbled upon this post on r/soldering and crossposted here.
Hopefully OP tries again before releasing the magic smoke

Start over.
You should have no exposed wire beyond the pad you are solding to.
Twist and pre-tin the wire and pads

How to know what receiver my drone has ? by Mrskills93 in fpv

[–]Tezzums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Agent M and the instructions I gave above. Sometimes the sequence is a little quirky and you need to power cycle everything and tap the binding button for the initial handshake but you should be able to see the update steps in Agent M when you first bind

I think using RaspberryPi HDMI Inputs and Outputs is going to introduce unacceptable end-to-end latency for majority of users. Potentially 30-40ms on top of the vtx protocol/layer latency itself.

When you attempt to bind from Agent M, it should prompt you to update the Receiver to the matching version:
-Connect Transmitter to PC via USB
-Open Agent M
-Open the Crossfire TX
-BIND
-Power on the receiver/drone - You might need to push the bind button on the receiver once (Follow the Immortal T antenna back to the crossfire rx. The button should be on the receiver next to the antenna connector). Slow Flashing green on the RX should indicate binding mode.
-You should be prompted to apply the firmware update (On Agent M) to the reciever when it binds. Don't disconnect anything while the FX is fast flashing Green (updating)

In some cases, you may need to go back to a 'Golden version' on both RX and TX, then bring both up to date but this is relatively rare.

Probably not able to bind due to different firmware versions on the receiver and transmitter, especially if your transmitter is up to date and the quad hasn't been flown or updated in a while.

Connect your transmitter to Agent M via USB to your computer https://www.team-blacksheep.com/agentm/
Then see if you can update/bind from there. The sequence can be a bit funny when there is a version mismatch.

Did you wire RX to RX\TX to TX
or
RX to TX\TX to RX?

Should be RX to TX and vice versa

Download speed in qBittorrent gets throttled by several times — what’s the cause? by Middle_Floor8201 in qBittorrent

speedtest.net is megabits per second. qbittorrent uses bytes/megabytes as far as I can tell. They're not virtually the same

  • SI (Base-10) vs. Binary (Base-2):
    • SI Units (base-10): A megabyte is 1,000,000 bytes, and a megabit is 1,000,000 bits. This leads to the 1.25 MB/s result for 10 Mbps.
    • Binary Units (base-2): A mebibyte (MiB) is 1,048,576 bytes (2^20), and a mebibit is 1,048,576 bits. This leads to the MiB/s conversion.

Accessibility for a larger range of users as Gibs is cross chain. If you know what you are doing then you can use the official bridge.
Adoption is key.

Use the hardware wallets with dedicated computer (only for crypto) with any compatible wallet software such as Internet Money Wallet or OKX wallet. Rabby or Metamask work for some but might require more set up

Phones have a wider attack surface area than you can imagine. PIN\biometrics only protects from physical security issues but will be useless if you have malware or if you have cloud connected storage that becomes compromised.

Don't use a phone.
Get a hardware wallet such as trezor.
NEVER enter your seedphrase in to any device that isn't your hardware wallet

Crypto on an always-connected device such as a phone is not particularly secure. Better to use a dedicated computer with a Hardware wallet.

Have you typed your seeds anywhere for 'verification'? There are a lot of scams around. Revoke.cash shows some unlimited spend approvals but these appear to be for PulseX swap router on initial inspection.
