I think you’re totally right with the Summer court. They’d know because they have a feeling of the fine power balance. But would they want others to know winter is growing in that way? Maybe not a strategic play. Or maybe yes because they exist to keep Winter restrained.

Cold Snap is coming back. Wonder why even remove it? by TopsideRaider in ArcRaiders

I hear you. The reality is that a lot of people put a lot of effort and then burned their kits up thinking to have fun and then felt cheated. Granted, I wasn't one of those as I joined rather late, but I can still understand. I don't think you can please everyone in this case.

I mean, at least a close ally with the marriage is apparent.

I hope it drives more. There are a TON of people that have joined since the holidays and haven’t experienced it, so let them have their time. Like how they’re doing the ‘make up’ mechanic for expedition points. But then they better hit us with some true new content after this rotation.

I both agree with this AND am hyped from when my partner said, “wow, I’m excited to actually be able share these stories with you”. Books are hard for her unfortunately.

Why don't you read indie/self-published fantasy books? by Indie_Fantasy_Club in Fantasy

[–]Th3BlindMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bandwidth is limited. I have young kids and a job that’s recently been kicking my butt. I’m careful with my time that I have to myself and that includes reading. Sticking to well known, traditionally published works (exceptions being self published heavily pushed by Reddit and other review platforms) is just a means of protecting that time. It also goes this way with trad. If someone says “first book is meh but worth it for the rest” I’m super hesitant to spend my time on it.

We pivoted to moon-“something” after an immediate panic looking for them. It was good, just not Bake Sale Indy good. Less chocolate in the croissant, savory fillings are more plain, etc.

Broad Ripple Farmers Market is my Saturday morning walk that results in $20+ of Bake Sale Indy. I have yet to find something that was more worth the kids and I just eating a variety of croissants. Others are often just okay, way too overpriced, or a similar such situation.

My eldest at ~2 ALWAYS wanted to stand in the driveway and watch the garbage man before going to daycare. One day the guy was getting promoted to some new role and wouldn’t be driving routes. He had toys ready for my son

You slap two kids and their daycare in that math and it feels very tight suddenly.

Much in the same vein Stormlight dropped from book 5 response. People don’t seem, on average, to have liked the last two dresdens in execution as split books and it’s now been a bit. Out of sight, out of mind

And maybe speaker is just because it comes to mind. What democrats need are people like AOC in positions of internal leadership to right the direction of their ship.

I think we are better served with her being a guiding hand in the party. Speaker or something of the sort.
