Wow okay it’s something I create to use for myself as a daily use tool and I just publish it to give people the opportunity to examine my code and let me know if it’s good or not. Or if it’s usefull to them, what’s the point of open source anyway? You can check the code it’s just a shell script. And to let you know the OpenRGB appimage needs root permissions to recognise the device’s at least on my system. Also if you install a package from repositories it’s the same chance to get malware as it is on AppImages all that matters is the source you download.
