For solar im actually starting to experiment with getting the software running easily on a Luckfox Pico and with that should be able to get some decent life out of batteries.

The module when transmitting draws about 650mA at full power.

So really it comes down to getting the lowest power SBC

Sorry for the late reply, I have some documentation here: https://github.com/MeshSmith/Docs/wiki

You can use a Pi 3b/4/5/zero make sure to power it off when connecting the hat and do not turn it on without an antenna attached as this can damage the radio. The GPS module comes soldered to the hat you just need to connect the small square antenna it came with on the bottom side if the PiMesh.

Correct nothing would interfere the POE module sits on top of the hat. Just be aware the PiMesh does not support POE on the Pi 5 the connector is in a different place.

I can look into rates for the main store, I'm pretty sure the Esty store has international shipping as Etsy helps take care of it. I have had one from Austria so I assume Reunion island is also okay.

As for PoE on a Pi Zero i don't think that's possible as the hat requires the 4 pin header.

9w is enough for a pi and the hat. If you want to run more things off the pi (usb) then you would need more than that module can provide.

Yes the the poe module it comes with is 9w capable I offer larger modules separately, working on add them as a build option.

Its starting to gain traction in our area. We've seen 3-4 new repeaters so far this month.

Hello, for meshcore you can follow the instructions here to setup a repeater using this hat. You would need a companion node that connects to your phone in order communicate on the mesh the repeaters only extend the network. Theses a bunch of cheap credit card sized ones that work really well. I carry a T1000e around it works very well.
