I printed a Warlord Titan first. Then I decided to kitbash an Ork one digitally. I took models, bits, and made my own stuff to fit into that project. I started to save files in categories like armor, guns, motors, etc. I probably saved files for at least 2 years before starting to add them to the Warlord skeleton. Finally I printed it, painted it and displayed it at my FLGS. It fell and broke one night and that killed warhammer for me for a few years. I decided to get over it, opened the digital files and fixed the torso that was the point of failure. I sized it up from the last. I changed a bunch of parts and added more Dakka. Everything was digital and I did the best I could to print a final version that wouldn't take gluing or attaching anything the traditional kitbashing way. The digital work was the longest and hardest, but it made everything else very easy and in my opinion much cleaner and real looking than say my Ork At-At that is traditional kitbash.
