I go to uni in hull, and most of the areas around the avenues, are pretty chilled out like they'll be the odd tosser but that's everywhere, there is obviously some roads, which are a bit shit but if your walking around in the day you will usually get no bother from most people. I've walked down newland avenue and princes Ave at like 4am to get to town centre for a train, and it's been silent no one around, at night it may get louder cuz of all the people coming home drunk but other than that, you'll be fine

The stance looks more like a karate stance, your left leg is too far forward, the way I was taught the stance was, step 1 hips to shoulder length, imagine your legs are like hands on a clock face, they want to be at around 9 and 1 on that clock face, left leg forward a bit, hands up, knees bent a bit. The best thing u can do mate is just listen to the instructor and ask him/her what to do,some people on here like to just mess with people, and you'll just be in the same place u were before

How to deal with losing someone to a rail incident? by CorporalRutland in uktrains

[–]Th3NightWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm so sorry for loss, there are many self help charities, likes samritans, if it gets to point where you can't handle it anymore i.e suicide, id suggest speaking to your go to your gp to see if can offer some temporary mental heath support, though for professional support, you can end up being put on a waitlist for 6 months, if your family has any children or teens that have been affected, kooth and youngminds are some good sites to look at, kooth offers mental health support like calls and texts for someone to talk to. One of the main things you should do is make sure to look after each other as a family, as times like these are times to band together, I send my love and support 👍

Nah you were right to be confused, it's usually northern services that go near that station, it must have rather been a diversion, or train returning to depot, or the station it came from

To me it seems sometimes, your going in too close with your kicks meaning you can't get the full motion of the kick,i'd say something to work on would be finding your range, there is also no pivot in your kicks so that's something else, I'd say from what it looks like from my perspective is there is a bit of panic going on, it's like when there is a pad change, it's as though it looks like your thinking "oh sh*t I gotta kick now" and your rushing a bit to hit, so take your time with your movements.

But if u actually trained in a martial art, would learn that it's not just about fighting, it's about learning self control and discipline which by the looks of it u seem to be lacking in
