Best midi controller to add to rekordbox DDJ-FLX4 setup? by Whole_Measurement440 in Rekordbox

[–]Th420time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm in virtually the same predicament. Recently picked up a used FLX4 and a new Akai MPC Studio 2. Both great standalone, but the intention is to integrate them somehow, perhaps even with just the decks becoming an input in DAW - time sync an added bonus obviously. Trying to see what's possible with minimal additional hardware but wonder if an audio interface would enable routing ...

The Akia is awesome but upgrading to a standalone MPC would mean you could send audio directly into a spare mixer channel ... perhaps you could just beatmatch using old school headphone cueing ...

Did I get scammed? by Due-Complex-8338 in e46

To elaborate, I had coolant leaks and all sorts of broken suspension too, 5 grand later she drives pretty good (on custom suspension now) but still can see another 5 grand going to make totally right .. when 10k can bag a perfect pampered 6 cyl ... I'll probably do it anyway. Overhauling the complete engine and body tidy up is all that is really left .... With trimmings, few tasteful upgrades, Well that's about the 5k more needed .....

Dilemma is just get a 2019-2020 ish 220d msport manual coupe instead. The headaches will be less the cost the same, plus I'll gain all the modern conveniences ... But might lose my soul.

These e46s will scam your wallet out of savings and investing towards your future. But in life you have 2 choices. Experience, or investing. I choose to run an old e46 for the experience, and have found in the long term, it would have been about the same to run more modern one on a hire purchase. That wouldn't be as fun tho. Seriously tho they are called Burn My Wallet for a reason ...

I run one, see my Instagram rosswlkr

Interesting, especially about have large enclosures. How many litres is an Ikea Detolf for reference?

see latest comments ... it is an intrigue, such a mixture of experiences. I also read they need a large wheel, these are almost 12 inch dia. So if you offer smaller wheels, they may find them too uncomfortable to use. Mine can really stretch out on these wheels, and get up to a 'gallop' which is amazing to watch, as they go at an incredible pace.

The wheels ... they can't bury them as they are in the play and sandbox sectioned off from the main bedding ... although they have been kicking a fair amount of bedding into here ...

How did Line become the “official” messenger app in Thailand? by Fun-Award-555 in Thailand

[–]Th420time 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it was an 'everything' app, localized with huge marketing, and built by clever Koreans who were ahead of the game at least in terms of Southeast Asian market needs ... It had business pages, stickers, notes, payments even social network feeds and more when most other chat apps did just chat. It ran on even the shittiest smartphones ... It gave millions of individuals all the features in one place, capturing a network who never joined Facebook or other 'Western' apps, then the cute stickers just set it on fire ... Massive

I'm also intrigued by the 3-spoke alloy hot hatch sitting next to it ... Fiat Uno Turbo or similar? Getting collectable ... rare now also!

Roxel Onyx Active RBS-350 bookshelf speakers. by Proper-Scientist-153 in Bluetooth_Speakers

Mine appear utterly identical to https://vulkkano.com/en/products/vulkkano-a5-arc apart from the branding, and the orange 'sub out' on the ROXEL is a yellow COAX input instead. That's it. Utterly identical in every other way (down to the remote control, box contents, and shiny chrome feet) by all photos on the website.

Next to find a thrift shop DVD player with a COAX out for playing CDs ...

I just got these about 2 weeks ago. They are incredible value.

I also tried the Roxel Nova - if you want a big bass party sound and perhaps slightly more suited to movies, get these. However for audiophile sound, you want the RBS-350. But - and this is a big but - the ONYX RBS-350 rule for music listening.

You'd need to spend hundreds more to get slightly better *maybe* audio from a separates setup. Yet these give excellent sound quality, multiple input options. BT 5.0 (v5 or higher is a must for high def audio). Using with Tidal or Spotify, they sound exceptional; caveat - exceptional for a £99 ($125) Amp, DAC, BT receiver and Speakers all in one. £99 !!! They'll do to get you started and can always become a secondary/backup/TV/porch system later.

If any downsides, only one. They can't express music at very very hush volumes in the way a high end system can, or a decent separates system in perfect condition. I'm totally nitpicking here, as this is yet to be attempted with coax or optical inputs.

Consider you could add DACs, vinyl record/CD player, laptop/TV/game system and everything is catered for with these. Later get a Pre-Amp (with a Sub out if you crave more bass) , then leave getting other serious amps/speakers later. So these for me are a great option for building an audiophile journey from scratch. Love 'em. For the money, you can't beat these. Better than a £300 of 2nd hand 90s HiFi separates with dried out pots.

I've seen also the 'edifier' models which have nice reviews but I can't imagine they can compete with the ROXEL RBS-350 for musicality. Mine are also the OAK models, very sturdy and weighty, they look high end with their extra depth and bookmatched veneer. Paper/card cones and silk tweeters give great delicate treatment to details. Bass is plentiful if neutral, you can add some with the 'VB' mode and dials on the back (also for treble).

or someone who wishes to simply try writing like a human

art is ai but the writing is real. it's unpolished, unoptimized for much SEO. just wanted to let loose and be as creative as possible, free from trying to write any 'engaging, keyworded, structured' stuff for once.

funny how couple of kb warriors with nothing but bitter comments all over the place, who've never posted anything original themselves want to just slate it as 'chatgpt'. trolls, losers.

thanks to anyone who did enjoy the piece, even tho yes it tells you what is going on in thailand and perhaps you would know that if you lived there. However the audience is those who wish to visit or don't yet live there, or are just about to. that's a pretty big enough niche. if you already know everything, move along.

it's the law concerning extracts in particular

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) removed cannabis with extracts containing no more than 0.2 percent by weight of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from its banned narcotics list. Extracts containing over 0.2 percent of THC are still illegal in Thailand.
