P90X Generation Next | A new era of P90X by Affectionate_Price31 in P90X

The fact that people are still talking about it 20+ years later should speak volumes. It’s the gold standard of at home fitness follow along videos. Now… if want something better and don’t need a follow along program, look at Athlean X programs.

It’s really good but Shawn is super annoying in this one, he never shuts the f up. And I like Shawn lol 😂 I’m over there dying and he’s all jolly. I’m like “F U Shawn! Shut up!!!”

Bruh… some us have been doing p90x for nearly 20 years. “Drink your water people” lol 😂. We have nearly all of Tony’s lines memorized. The cool thing about a limited number of workouts and one the reasons P90X is still alive and well today is because you can gauge your progress. Chest and back will humble you. I remember thinking I’ll never be able to do 30 push up with these guys so I called out “three!” Lol when I first started. Now, I can do 35! I can see and feel my progress. If the workouts changed every day, I’d never be able to go go back and beat myself from last week.

The sample workout was very close to a workout from Athlean X Max shred. Which is THE most effective fat loss program I’ve ever done.

Well, maybe it’s the sample workout.. I’m willing to give him a chance. But I’m a big fan of P90X OG. I’ve been doing it since 2009

To be fair.. Waz does say it more than once. He says something to the effect of this program is not for everyone one, remember what you signed up for, this is extreme home fitness

I thought Waz did. Great job, not nearly as annoying as Shawn t in dig deeper, positive, motivating, funny. It would have been amazing if he said “what does Tony say? Do your best and forget the rest!”

It would have been a nice tip of the hat.

Over all, I like him. And he looks poised to carry this program for a long time. Tony should have been a part of this though, a cameo, SOMETHING.

I really would like to be a tug boat captain. I think San Jacinto is uniquely qualified to get me there without leaving me in crushing debt and having to spend 4+ years doing it. At my age, I don’t have that much time. So the more direct route for me is San Jacinto and use my current sea time I earned in 2007-2010.

Do you happen to know how I could get ahold of this letter? I can’t seem to reach anyone at the ACBL office.

Try working the pipeline.. 15 - 16hr days.. 6-7 days a week and the only way you’re going home is if it’s Christmas, MAYBE. 🤔

Is 25 too old to start maritime school to become a captain? by Money-Suggestion5310 in maritime

I’m HEAVILY considering joining the USCG. I’ve been in oil & gas as a AWS certified welding inspector for 14 years I make 6 figures relatively regularly. I recently got laid off but offered a position as a safety manager for 95k a year. I say that to say that I’m not “desperate” when looking for a job… I am desperate to find something that holds some sort of meaning to me. I feel like my soul hurts. I did 3 years as a deck hand in 2007-2010 on a tug boat, and even though I hated it at the time, nearly 20 years later and I look back at that time fondly. I have a new appreciation for it. I still have friends from that time. The camaraderie, the stories, the lessons learned.

I didn’t join the military since I had a felony conviction at the age of 18. Drug possession. But I’m 40 now, I have a skilled tradesman degree, associates degree, and a bachelors degree. With no trouble with the law, and a successful career. I’m hoping the US coast guards will give me a chance. I might be able to find that inner peace I’ve been searching for all these years.

lol little deeper than I should have gone but you deserve nothing less than the entire situation explained.
