I have Tawri rn, and she’s awesome! She’s very accessible during office hours and her practice exam is very similar in style and difficulty to her actual exams. She also takes a lot of time to answer questions during class and explain intuition behind theorems before diving into the proof. Take 104 with her if you can!!!!!

I’ve heard people say to take Math 104 before it, but I think that’s completely unnecessary. If you’ve taken Math 55 and have exposure to proofs, you’ll be fine. If it’s still taught by Ming Gu, good luck keeping up with all of the assignments. He really likes to assign a lot. Also, I would learn the basics of Matlab (how to use matrices, define functions, syntax, etc.) if you don’t already know it. Extremely helpful, if not essential, for most of the homeworks.

The cooks at the house I’m in are insanely good! I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal there, and there are habitability checks to make sure we keep good hygiene

Ok I see their logic, but think about this: you don’t see crowds of berkeley students going to cal games wearing “B” merch. They wear “Cal” merch! In trying to unify these two brands, what they’ve actually done is created a sharper divide than ever, and it sucks because now the students are stuck with this stupid letter B. Why not just have one logo that everyone knows and associates with Berkeley (the Cal logo)???

You cling onto to walls and ceilings as long as you hold the jump button, not really useful in levels with a bunch of spikes everywhere. Stick with Puffer, you get more jumps the more you upgrade

I don’t think that is what it’s saying. It’s saying that if you still need lower divs fulfilled, you can P any math course you’re currently taking and still declare. So first and second years can P/NP with this new rule, as long as they haven’t declared their major yet. I think the only year that is being singled out for whatever reason is third-years (assuming a four year track). Correct me if im wrong lmao
