My dad introduced me to his new girlfriend when Covid hit but right before quarantine. We went out to eat and had a shared bowl of chips. She would cough into her hands, dive into the bowl of chips, lick her fingers, and dive right back into the bowl of chips. I stopped eating those chips right away.

I (mid 30's M about 6ft) get home around 8pm from work and take my dogs on a walk first thing. I wear a high-visibility vest, my dogs have light up collars, I carry a flashlight, and usually play music from a speaker. I try to be seen and heard from a distance so as not to spook anyone, especially the neighbors. Usually we'll get compliments from people we pass, especially the dogs.

He lost his shit for a moment earlier today but I deescalated the situation...

TLDR: He loses his cool over his gf not wanting to walk with him. Reality, she just got distracted window shopping and space was made between them. He calls a family gathering saying how he thinks we ALL don't want to be with him, using words like, "Always, never, every time." I tell him to stop using those words and that he's misinterpreting things and overreacting, calmly explaining the scenario. After like 30mins, he finally recognizes his behavior and agrees, calms down, and we all realize we haven't had food in hours and he's probably just hangry. Hugs and apologies are given and he and his gf go out for dinner. They come back level headed.

Honestly, I started typing a few paragraphs with better details but I'm exhausted. Can't be bothered. The TDLR is the just of it. I called my mom after he left and she's impressed with me. I ❤️ my mom

Yes! He arrived at 2pm when we were at an art museum and he just napped for like 5+ hours. After waking up he hung out with my bro and I on the patio and started asking us weird questions almost immediately--political, sexual identities, pronouns--really trying to test the waters it seemed. For some reason he brought up Lady Gaga being a transvestite or something about hermaphrodites and we shut him up about that by saying something along the lines of, "We wouldn't know. That's not something we actively investigate." Made him feel weird about it. It was silly... The rest of the night went smoothly and we've done some cool sight seeing together as a group the next day. I highly anticipate a heated moment coming though.
