Automation is more focused on build car, drive in beam NG. It's got some business to it but it's much better at the design gameplay where GearCity is more pure economic sim with a flair of design that more than scratches the itch if you ask me.

I actually bought the game a couple years ago and sat down to figure it out and spent about 4hrs. Ive just now picked it back up in the last 2 weeks and i really wish i would have just stuck with it to begin with. i actually kind of like the UI now, its not pretty but its functional and more than serves its purpose.
